History

Established in 2010.

This show was created by Gordy and Debbie Wensel in 2010 after so many of the guests of the Gordy and Debbie Show requested more George Strait music. Gordy and Debbie decided it was time to create a full on tribute to George Strait, the «King of Country Music.» Since then, it has been awarded with multiple awards.

Gordy Wensel and Debbie Kaye are from Branson, MO. They each have spent the last twenty-​five years in the entertainment industry. They first met in 2005 and by 2006 their love for music and each other grew into a husband and wife singing duo. They currently perform A Tribute to George Strait Dinner Show at Jackie B. Goode’s Uptown Café in Branson. They also have made appearances on several Branson stages, The Gordy and Debbie Show at the Branson Mall Center Stage, The Jackson Cash Show (Johnny Cash Tribute) at The Caravelle Theatre, Branson Country USA, a nationally syndicated LIVE radio show, broadcast from The Grand Country Theatre, The Turkey Creek Opry at the IMAX Little Opry Theatre, as well as their own show recorded LIVE at The Jim Stafford Theatre.

This show deserves 5 star. Totally entertaining 3 ½ hours. Good food. Just heartfelt. They sing their hearts out Highly recommend. A must do in Branson.

Picked this show on a family vacation, as it had a low price point, with meals included, and of course, George Strait music. The food was great, definitely try the prime rib, and the show itself was pretty darn good. A little cheeky at times, but hey, what do you expect at a dinner show in Branson. All around, good times were had and I would recommend this show to anyone looking for something to do.
