Okay, first of all, I have been buying my summer produce from this location for years-​, always the best. Now Eamon Roche and Greg Nobile bought it and understand what it can be. So:
The produce is as good as ever and I can still get the best corn and herbs there. And all else that’s fresh. Oh yes, the mini plums.
They carry my favorite local cheese– Beltane Farm– and I understand great yougurt.
Now the canteen. Love love love their pulled pork and smoked brisket. Light sauces are awesome. Sides are fantastic. And breakfast??? I don’t particularly like breakfast egg sandwiches– but am dreaming about going back for theirs. I was there last Saturday and it was packed– clearly the place to be. A very very happy atmosphere! By being outside, there was always room for more.
Also, they catered a party for us. We gave them a standing ovation at the end. Really anxious to please, and please they did.

Wow! What an incredible place. Grew up in Branford, ‘came up to visit from South Florida and couldn’t have been more impressed. Great location, great view, great people and unreal pulled pork sandwich. Looking forward to getting back!

San Francisco level brisket sandwich. The bun was insane. And I ate it on a swing looking out on a large garden. I can’t wait for their restaurant to open.
