Do not even consider visiting this scumbag!!! I was a patient for about 8 years, I should have switched way sooner but once he found the right medicine for me I just said screw it and only went back to him when I needed a refill. Anyway, during my last appt with Dr scumbag he said to me and I quote «what do you expect me to do? you come in here and complain for a half hour, I mean what do you want?» did I mention that this dickhead is a therapist? I was seeing him for stress and anxiety. I told him off saying, «how dare you say that to me? I’ve asked several times for some stress relief exercises and you balked at the idea. what if I was in a fragile state of mind? a comment like that that could’ve put me over the edge, you have no business treating people if thats how you feel»! I then went to my primary care Dr and asked him to refill my scrip because I wasn’t going to see dickhead anymore. He refused! I insisted that he either fill it or I was picking up my records. He asked several times if I was sure about the dosage. I was and had the empty bottle to prove it. I told him i’m not some junkie and i don’t abuse it. He said he would only prescribe it at a much smaller dosage, one third of what i’d been taking. Not five minutes after our conversation Stitleman leaves me a message, «hello —– i just wanted to let you know that i’ve been prescribing you 3 times the maximum recommended dosage and you need to get to a cardiologist right away to check for heart damage, good luck!» i was on that dosage for years!!! this guy should lose his license and burn in hell.
