Libby’s is cool

Hands down best bar in Branford. The bartender lives upstairs so the bar doubles as his living room. You can sit back and relax while watching NCIS with Libby himself and his wonderful wife Vicky. Also, you can smoke cigarettes inside which is also a bonus. Just DO NOT spill beer on the pool table because Libby will freak out. Also don’t mind the underage kids blowing cocaine in the bathroom. Great place overall if you’re looking for a place to crawl into a bottle and chill for a couple hours. I would recommend it to anyone!

OK well that would depend on your definition of magic, I feel that it is a step back in time as can be seen by the pristine Kathy Ireland posters on the walls from 1993. PBR in bottles — $ 3. Cash only. never a car in the parking lot, so you usually will have the place to yourself. Oh yah, the bartender lives here. Rumor is sometimes he serves from the bar in his bath robe. A toilet that doesnt flush and a lack of toilet paper in the bathroom adds to the quaint yankee charm.
