Established in 2003.

Excelerate Performance, established in 2003, is a Connecticut based retailer and installer of aftermarket performance parts, wheel and tire packages, and accessories. We specialize in modifying and servicing European and Japanese vehicles and also some newer domestic vehicles.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Excelerate Performance is owned by Joshua Lockwood. Joshua has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Quinnipiac University and he has a extensive experience with automotive performance. He has been modifying vehicles since he was a teenager and his lineup of vehicles has run the gamut: VW, Audi, Acura, Honda, Toyota, Mazda, etc. Excelerate Performance’s service team is led by Jamie Brecciaroli, formerly of Sleeper’s Performance, where he fabricated and installed custom turbo kits for many Audi/VW’s.
