Happy day for me today! The day my lawn mower was returned to me! I can’t say enough about the great service I received from this place! My mower died on a Saturday of all days… tired, sweaty, frustrated and cranky. I googled mower repair shops and came up with Big Mike’s, called and was greeted by a pleasant voice on the call and a huge«no problem». We will pick up your mower on Monday. I wasn’t sure I heard her correctly so I had to ask her if she indeed said they would pick it up and she said yes! Thank goodness as I had no idea how I would get it there. She then said that If it appeared that is was something we can’t fix we won’t take it. Wow! Two great statements for me to hear. She called me Thursday morning to say it was all set and they would drop it off to me. Thursday my mower was back, fixed and ready to do its job. Highly recommend this place. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I feel like I know these guys forever. I’ll be bringing my snow blower in to them in September and my mower for its spring tune up again. So thrilled to have found this place. Gotta go now, my lawn awaits!

Great service I can’t thank them enough for everything they did my lawn mower belt broke I called them up they came and picked up my mower when they said they would they had to order the belts for my mower they dropped it back off at my house I’m a single mom with two kids I have never mowed before I could not get it started I called them they came back out showed me how to do it he ended up coming out twice that day lol I’m not great with machines could not finish my yard next day I called again could not get the blades to work this is on a Saturday at 7pm they came out in 10 minutes showed me how to put the blades down not only that but mike mowed my back yard way above and beyond these guys are great two thumbs up thank you sooooo much for everything and I will be back:)

I have now been to Big Mikes twice since I seem to find a way to break all my tools. I’ve also reviewed them prior on other sites. I felt compelled to review on Unilocal due to the negative review from Sammi. I will continue to do business with this place as their prices are more than reasonable and their turn around has never been a problem for me. I took the time to read Sammi’s reviews and accusations. If you look at her profile you’ll notice most of her reviews are one star. I think that’s very telling and I would encourage anyone who is considering a tool repair shop to give Big Mikes a try and ignore that erroneous review

The absolute worst service I have experienced in a long time. This husband and wife duo over promised and under-delivered. We were told we would get our lawn mower back in a week. This was Memorial Day weekend. So when I called on the Thursday before to confirm TAT I was then told we wouldn’t get it back until the following Wednesday, more than a week. I said whatever, and waited to hear from them on Wednesday. I asked the wife about pricing and she said nothing big needed to be done. The wife called Wednesday morning and stated the price was $ 318. I did expect it to be cheaper than this since the wife said it wasn’t going to be too bad. But I paid for it over the phone and they said they would deliver some time that day. At 5:30 Wednesday evening I received a phone call with the wife telling me that they had the wrong belt on the machine but it was the right part number. She explained that they could deliver the machine that day but would need to come back Friday to bring the correct belt. I expressed the fact that we were now approaching the two week mark. I asked what type of reimbursement I would get for this inconvenience. The couple did not understand this. I explained they over sold and under delivered. I still did not have my mower and I already paid in full. The wife became upset and said she would take off all the new parts, replace them with the old, and bring it back. I agreed. When they delivered the mower back, that same night, they left my mower in pieces, with the parts in a box. They did not put my mower back together. We are now left with trying to put the lawn mower back together all because they were unable to properly repair my machine. Also, all of the gas was removed from the gas tank and the belt was intentionally sliced in several places and a huge rip was made to it. Response to the owner — sorry you have to resort to name calling to try to prove your point. You and your husband run a shabby business. You could not deliver on the timeframe you stipulated. Let’s be clear on the facts — you said it would be repaired in a week. A week later it was not repaired. You called and told me it would be done by the following Wednesday. Wednesday morning you called and gave me the price and said it would be delivered that evening. Wednesday evening you called and said you had the wrong belt. How exactly do you test the machine and believe it’s functioning properly if you have the wrong belt on it??? The gas is missing. Plain and simple. The parts are off. They were delivered in a box. You were able to quickly refund my entire payment yet when I asked for a discount I was told you didn’t know how to do that. A discount I deserved because of the major inconvenience caused by your inaccurate timeframes and deliverables. Also, I was prepared to give you your $ 30 pick up and delivery fee when you came the following day to return the lawn mower. However, you and your husband came the same night and did not even notify us that you delivered the lawn mower. You left the lawn mower and the box of parts outside of my garage and left. Again, every single thing I have stated are 100% facts!
