Established in 1996.

Sara McCaughan, Owner & Broker, has trained and worked in every aspect of the real estate industry, which is what enables The McCaughan Company to operate as a full service team.
Steve Jobs once said, «The only way to do great work is to love what you do.» Sara truly believes that it is not considered a job when you love what you do, which is why she made the decision to set out on her own adventure in this industry. She managed several real estate companies prior to deciding, with a partner, to begin her own firm. Operating under another name, the business opened its doors in 1996. It will soon be twenty years that The McCaughan Company has been in business, and Sara has served as both broker and owner.

I first earned my license to sell real estate in 1979. At that time, I did not realize that I had just signed on for what was not to be a simple career choice, but a way of life. In fact, there is nothing simple about my knowledge of the real estate industry, because I have always worked full-time in this business.
My husband, Robert, and I have been married for over fifty years. Together, we have three children. Our son is a doctor, and both of our daughters are CPAs. All of my children are successful in their own right; however, I also claim each of them to be three of my greatest accomplishments in life. The last time I counted, we are the proud grandparents of eleven grandchildren.
