OEC is a convenient place for take out Japanese Hibachi. I would avoid the sushi as my friend got salmonella poisoning one time from the sushi. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are more than you can eat. I frequent this place when I’m looking for something quick, easy, and convenient. The hibachi menu pricing is about half that of most of the«sit down» Japanese restaurants and they have a fabulous pink sauce(Yum Yum sauce). I think this place deserves a solid 4 stars for consistency, portions and pricing.

So, the food didn’t taste like traditional OEC food(which I know is not hibachi restaurant quality, but that’s not my issue). The pink sauce tasted like sugar and liquid onion, the rice was hard, and the chicken was bone dry. I got the Crunchy Roll(added salmon), and not only did they forget the salmon, but they forgot the crunchy. So, i guess I just had a Roll Roll. I probably won’t be going back to this location.

They have really good hibachi style food here. The prices are very good… About $ 7.00 for a chicken dinner… If you eat in there’s no waiter service… Whether eating in or taking out the food comes out quickly and tasting wonderful. The service is okay, they aren’t super friendly… I will definitely be back in the future.

I went in for sushi and hibachi and when I got it the sushi it was warm and the hibachi was definitely less than what I had expected. I gave it 3 stars because the service was nice and quick and the sushi would have been great if it wasn’t warm. However, I don’t think I will be going back.

Really good hibachi food to-go. Yes, you can eat in, but we never have. If you do eat in, there is no waiter service — order/pay at the counter, then head to the counter to pick up your food when it’s ready. Most of the time, we would call our order in so it was ready when we arrived, but even when we just walked in the door and ordered, it never took more than 10 minutes. I’ve order the chicken and the steak dinners. Both are very good and come with fried rice. The prices are seriously cheap — like $ 6 for the chicken dinner and $ 7 for the steak dinner. It’s also a hellalot of food! Many times, my 22 year old daughter and I would get a dinner to share and we’d still have food left over! Two adults eating for $ 6 – 7?! Oh yea — that’s what I’m talking about! Sushi eater I am not(nor do I know jack diddly about the stuff), but my 20 year old daughter absolutely loves the sushi here. I have heard her order this roll and that roll and the other roll — she says they are all really good. So since I wasn’t the one eating it, you can take that for what it’s worth. =) Personally, I’d say she has a pretty good opinion when it comes to sushi because she’s had it from a wide variety of places from multiples cities/states. As for service, I’ve only had interactions with whomever happens to be manning the cash register. I can’t say any of the employees were friendly, but they weren’t rude either. I’m not taking away any stars for service because nothing really transpires other than order/pay/get food/go. It is what it is. If you’re in the mood for some good hibachi at great prices, head here. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

Food is good. One female employee isn’t friendly taking the orders but other than that its ok.
