Chick-N-Bones Cafe & Catering

No bones about it, this is Good Chicken.
I have only tried the flame broiled chicken so this review is simply based on that.
To be honest, walking in, I was not too excited to eat here. The menu board is in desperate need of a face lift, the restaurant is dimly lit, the people hanging in the parking lot where scary and it all sort of gives you that «is it safe to eat here» feeling. However we grabbed an 8 piece to go with some super friendly service. We took it home and found they had given us a few extra pieces for free and it was a good thing because we devoured it. Now I find myself craving some more chicken! It was great! Not too greasy but had great flame-​broiled flavor. The skin was crispy and addicting. We will be back and will probably make this a regular take out spot!

Just moved to Brandon area and found this place on my first day. The «no name» is what i had first. Yellow rice and beans with lettuce and chopped chicken and i added jack cheese what a plate and taste was awesome!!! Next i tried the pulled pork plate was even better than the no name! I have been back four times in two weeks!

Nice, clean little café with friendly service. I came at 3pm on a Friday so there was no wait and it was very calm inside.
I ordered the «no name» with chicken and added cheese, it comes with a side of peppercorn dressing and was very good. I left full and still had some left to go for later. I will definitely be coming back and look forward to trying other items :)

I’ve been coming to ChikNBones for many years. The staff is always very friendly and everything on the menu is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place whether you’re dining in or on the go. Never a wait!

If you are looking to cater luncheons or meetings, this is a great option. Always friendly, always good and it won’t break the banks. I use them for our driver meetings and for catering lunch for the faculty at my son’s school. They never disappoint.

Went with some good friends today as one of them highly recommended it & I was impressed! Ordered the «no name» (essentially chicken with yellow rice & black beans) & enjoyed every bite! Staff was super friendly & the atmosphere was nice & casual. Will definitely be going back.

I came in for lunch and ordered ¹⁄₃ rack of ribs and sweet plantains. I am giving 2 stars because the service was good and the sweet plantains were decent. The ribs were really bad. They’re allegedly flame broiled but these sad anemic bones drizzled with BBQ sauce taste straight out of the microwave. Maybe i should’ve ordered chicken, which seems to be more popular.

Great place for an healthy lunch. Everything looks and taste fresh. Not too crowded but the line moves real fast. Specials so call ahead. Oh very friendly staff.

Are you looking for a place where you can get healthy grilled chicken and salad? This is the place! Their grilled chicken is excellent. I’ve been coming here for years for their three piece dark with a side Greek salad. They have plenty of other items on the menu, but when you find something you love it’s hard to try something else. They have BBQ sauce on the side that you can put on your lunch or dinner. Most meals come with Cuban bread or a pita. They are quick and very affordable.

Big thanks to my friend, all the way from California, who accidentally found this restaurant on Google Maps! The gyro pita and chicken were delicious! The seasoning on the chicken is beyond words! I am not a fan of coleslaw but thoroughly enjoyed theirs. Will definitely eat there again soon!

Great food. The pork is so tender and full of flavor you don’t even need any sauce. Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. The sides are a little bland, but the meat is so good I still had to give it 5 stars.

The dish called the No Name is great, pork over rice and beens. The ¼ white chicken was good, comes with two side and a bread. Fries are some of the best in area, normal but cooked fresh and correct.
