This place is great. It is some of the best pizza, the best wings I have ever had and just down right some of the best food you will encounter. The family salad is off the hook and can feed an army. I am on the road hundred percent of the time and have been here several times over the last few weeks and it has been great every time. They have a great selection of cold beer and great wines to choose from. The staff is very nice and some of the best looking people in the area must work there no kidding. If there is any don’t where to to eat you must try this place out! I am ready for them to open one in Texas in the Austin area it would be a very successful there. Good eats to you all.

The wings are great! The pizza is really good but the pies should be bigger so that keeps it from 5 stars. We had extra cheese and pepperoni and enjoyed it but the wings are what will keep us coming back. The wings are crispy, flavorful, and juicy and come with grilled onions. Very nice location with loads of TVs and a small bar.

Positives: They make a mean calzone. Ben Wyatt would be proud. Clean, spacious, very friendly staff. Negatives: $ 20 for a small calzone and a bottle of Coke(yep, they sell by the bottle, first time I’ve seen that). Menu is a little sparse. But what they do, they do well. Overall: good place. Not a replacement for your 2-slices-and-a-coke-for-5-dollars place, but holds its own

My sister, cutie-pie niece and brother-in-law invited us to go for pizza to celebrate my niece’s birthday. She had already had a couple parties, and this one was an extra one ;) haha! I was really excited to try this place, since they have a coal-fired pizza oven. It did not disappoint! In fact, you know your tastebuds are working overtime when you get to devour one or two of these delicious pizzas. And you know because you just can’t get enough! Sooo good! I loved the atmosphere this pizza place has, very family-friendly! And pizza isn’t the only item on the menu, it’s pretty extensive. The décor has a pubby feel, and the restaurant is very clean. The guy who seated us recognized my sister and her family, as they had just been there last week. That’s how good the pizza is; my niece wanted this pizza again for her birthday. We started off with the meatball appetizer, which came with focaccia bread to dip in the sauce. The meatballs themselves were tender and seasoned with oregano and other Italian spices, the sauce just right for dipping. Apparently, there is a much larger appetizer option on these meatballs. I’m not sure of the number of meatballs that are included, but I think it was something like 25 meatballs and sauce, that are served in a stainless steel pot with a handle, and you get to keep the pot. Not a bad idea! We ordered cheese pizzas, and another one, with Baby Meatballs to bring home to Jess, who wasn’t feeling well. The pizzas have a very nice red sauce that’s just right; not overly-sweet and not too acidic. The cheese –oh man– that cheese was fresh and light and perfect! I don’t think I’ve had a better pizza anywhere in Florida. For dessert, I HADTO bring home a couple slices of cheesecake to have with Jess. Of course, my little niece has developed a taste for cheesecake as well, so she brought one home for her birthday. This is a very cool atmosphere, and everyone who works here is so nice. Other items on their menu include coal oven and traditional pizza pies, coal oven sandwiches(including a cheesesteak sandwich, which I’m a big fan of), salads, Italian Soul Food(including eggplant) and an unusual take on wings that are topped with caramelized onions. We will most definitely be back to try some of these other food items! Great place, great staff, great food! *****FIVEFABULOUSSTARS*****

This is the most delicious pizza I have ever had. I am a huge fan and it’s super flavorful. THEMEATBALLANDRICOTTAPIZZA They don’t call this Meatball and Ricotta Pizza for nothing. THERICOTTACHEESE +1 MOZZARELLA — There’s just enough mozzarella where I can still can taste it but the way Anthony’s balances out the two cheeses where there is some heavy handed flavors that is brought out using high quality ingredients fresh herbs and a good olive oil. Ricotta is used in Italian cooking as a cheese for lasagna. It’s the base of cheese used to build the lasagna and provides flavor. It’s usually accompanied with red sauce. I have also seen it in Baked Ziti. I like the addition of it in pizza it’s a cheese I see starting a trend that is getting a lot of recognition that I would love to see burst on the scene. It has it’s own distinctive flavor and I believe it should be used sparingly. THEMEATBALLS — YUMMY! The meatballs as a topping out west were not as popular as they are here and what I love is the way they are shaped. The perfect ball and not a distorted one. These meatballs are tiny little morsels that can easily be popped in your mouth. The light sauce and sliced tomatoes were a good idea. Both flavors were even in ratios that the flavors came together as a whole. I enjoyed the ricotta cheese. It brought out so many different flavors. It was almost like a layered effect of pizza flavors and in the end it worked and melded together in so many good ways. THEDESSERT This place sure does make some good cheesecake. It isn’t too cloyingly sweet which made the dessert easier to eat. It had a light, creamy airy flavor and texture to it with my favorite crust in the whole world — YEP — Graham Cracker Crust. You can’t go wrong with that. MMMM!

Great food, lots of nice decorations for me to look at while I eat. We had the coal fired pizza with pepperoni and sausage and it was great. Several people came to check on us while we enjoyed our food. We had a good time and we will definitely be back. Igloo ice service

Ok I will start this out with saying my standard for this kind of pizza is quite high. I own a brick oven and I know how they are to be cooked. The atmosphere and staff were top notch and very courteous. The pizza was fresh and looked appealing. The problem was the taste of the pizza. It was exceptionally bland. I would credit the problem to be the lack of seasonings in the sauce and toppings. We had the Paul and Young Ron with the hot peppers. I don’t know who Ron and Paul are but they need to rework this pizza. The description on the menu sounded great but the execution was less than desirable. The peppers were no hotter than bell peppers and as I stated the pizza just lacked any wow points.

So happy to find a place offering quality pizza. We went for the CAULIFLOWERPIZZA; a unique combination of olive oil, huge garlic chunks, and just a little cheese. Not sure many were aware of this, but at the time of this writing, a shortage of cauliflower exists in the states. I discovered this after noting a head of cauliflower(traditionally farmed – not organic) was $ 5.99 – a far distance from the $ 1.50-$ 2.00 I have been used to paying. Needless to say, I was thrilled to find a pizza with this ingredient. We chose to make our own topping of ARUGULA by ordering the side salad. It was delicious. I will say leftovers somehow tasted rather salty a few days later. The SPORTSTHEMED décor, along with a sprinkle of Hollywood star pictures gives something varied to look at. OUTSIDESEATING, with heat lamps offers a different experience.

First — I big thanks to all fellow Unilocalers that rove we’d this place. Based on the overall four star rating(112 reviews) I decided to stop here while passing Brandon, FL. This place did not disappoint. The pizza was great! And I’m not a California style thin crust pizza fan, but this coal oven pizza was a bit flat but it did have some fluffy middle parts. All fresh ingredients. As far as the appetizers the wings were surprisingly good. Especially since they don’t offer different flavor a. You only the Anthony’s style, which is definitely flavorful. Oh! And they don’t offer any hot sauces, so bring your own if you like your wings spicy. The meatball appetizer was good as well. And most importantly the place has a decent selection of beer of tap. Overall a great experience. Great ambiance and service. I’ll go back. Hope this helps!

Have gone here twice and equally great experiences both times. Customer service was sensational both times. Starting out the meal with some one of a kind oven baked wings is a must. Never thought I would enjoy a wing not covered in sauces, but these oven baked and covered in caramelized onions take the cake. The Focaccia bread compliments the starter meal perfectly. Following it up with a tasty and fresh pizza that comes hot directly out of the oven. Last time we tried the meatballs and they literally made me want to pitch a tent and never leave. We have been dying to go back since the first time. When we finally made it back we were not disappointed! You know a place has your taste buds in check when you drive by the restaurant all the time and your mouth begins to water and you keep begging yourself to stop by there again. Can’t wait to make our next trip back!

Anthony’s has one of the best well-done pizza in town! If you don’t like crispy pizza you may not enjoy theirs. This time my husband and I decided to try their wings; I’m usually not big on wings but it was very tasty! Wings are coal fired and served with grill/sauté onions on top. I will say they are a bit on the pricey side.

Great service, coupled with well executed food. They do what they do and they do it well. The wings are my favorite, with crispy skin and caramelized onions, seasoned just right. Got the arugula pizza and it exemplified the restaurant’s characteristic coal oven crust, simple but exactly what it’s supposed to be. Our server, a lovely young lady who had worked for the company for 4 ½ years and is recently engaged, couldn’t have been better!

Voted best pizza chain by USA Today, Anthony’s Pizza is a leader in chain pizza restaurant quality, food, and service. This review is based on food, service, cleanliness, value, and atmosphere. The food is good, although I can only speak about the pizzas and salad. All the ingredients in the salad were fresh, and they even let me customize the house salad. The pizza was delicious, with good quality ingredients, and a perfectly cooked crust. Building your own pizza can get expensive quick, because the price for each ingredient is a little high. Service was good, we were seated fast even though it was dinner rush on a weekend. Our server was quick and attentive, and didn’t disappear for long periods of time. Although we sat outside, I did do a walk-through. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, and has a fun and upscale, yet casual atmosphere. The only complaint I have about sitting outside is, they have tiki torches burning, and the wicks were pulled out a little long. It was causing soot to fall all over the tables and chairs. Overall, I would say this is a good value for my experience and the high quality, delicious food. I’ll be back, and I do recommend trying it.

I travel to Florida frequently have always wanted to try Anthony’s. I’m so glad I did. And the best chicken wings I have ever eaten. Crispy salty tender juicy and not fatty. I also had an amazing meatball sandwich on the focaccia bread. Really good. I will definitely have to come back for the pizza. Staff was very attentive and friendly and did a good job. You could tell that they cared.

Best pizza … Excellent crust and great flavor. We had lunch with some friends from out of town and all 6 people were very happy with the food. We ordered personal pan pizzas, two large pizzas and wings. All were excellent. Happy customers

These guys would get 4 stars, except they ruined my favorite pizza. I’ve always ordered the prosciutto pizza here, and in the past it was amazing. Before they would place little strips of prosciutto here and there, and they would crisp up in the coal oven. Now they place an entire, doubled-over slice of prosciutto on every slice of pizza. The result is not good, the entire surface of the pizza is buried under chewy, fatty slices of prosciutto — not tasty. It’s too bad, I do love the crust you get from the coal oven, and their meatballs are pretty good too. Oh, and about the price… These guys aren’t cheap. Delivery of a small pizza with a side of 2 meatballs will run you about $ 30. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be back.

Had a wonderful experience here! Zack was our server gave us excellent customer service… Would recommend asking for him every day! My daughter had the small cheese pizza with meat balls. She loved it ate every bite. I had the Paul and Young Ron pizza with Arugula on top. It was outstanding! Also we had an order of 10 grilled wings, they were excellent. Not breaded or fried topped with caramelized onion … Drool worthy. To top things off Marcus the manager was so kind, had a wonderful conversation with him. Really a very hospital Manager. He sent us a piece of Cheesecake on the house. It was so damn good! Great ambiance, quick service, excellent management, would highly recommend this place! Love Anthony’s coal fired Pizza UPDATE: Had such a great experience the first time, had to go back for a second lunch. We sat at the bar with Megan. She is Zack’s big sister. She was extremely tentative to our every request. I also wanted to note that she was watching the door like a hawk for new customers ensuring that everyone had an excellent experience and were seated immediately. Had the same Paul and Young Ron pizza with Arugula. It was OUTSTANDING… I can honestly say this little pizza café has outdone themselves again! We sat at the bar and had such a cute little late lunch. My BF and I watched a round of golf while chowing down on the best pizza and wings. Drool worthy! Can’t wait to come back! DELISH

Good food and good service! The atmosphere is classy yet casual. They have about 12 items on tap, including local brew like Cigar City Maduro and Jai-Alai. I’m not big on IPA’s, but the local Jai-Alai(pronounced hi-lie) is good in my books. You can grab a pint for $ 7 here. They also have a nice selection of wine on their wine list. A bottle of St. Cristina Chianti is about $ 28. Meatball Appetizer $ 6(2) — These meatballs were delicious and incredibly tender. They just melt in your mouth. I must get these every time I come here, but make it a large next time($ 11 for 4). Large pizza with 3 toppings $ 23 — Pizza was very good and tasted fresh. We asked for a side of cauliflower(extra $ 8) so I can add it to the pizza after and it turned out really well. I saved some room for dessert and headed next door to Yogurtology.

What a gem and such delicious food! Thanks to my cousin I got to experience a dinner at this amazing place. simply wow! Our seating wasn’t all that great at the back door which was constantly opened but there wasn’t any other place available and we were hungry. Our entre consisted of tomatoes with mozzarella which we shared. Our drinks came in a bottle and were served with a glass and/or a straw. nice and cold and very good. Our main menu consisted of pizza for the kids, a calzone, a salad(which is what I had and it was delicious) and a plate to share of chickenwings with caramelized onions on a bed of italian focaccia bread. all of it was hot, fresh and absolutely delicous. It actually was so much that we had to take some of it home with us. The waitress was very friendly, always kept her eye on us in case we needed anything and did a great job. My suggestion: Go there and enjoy their delicious food. Though definitely not cheap it’s worth its money and you’ll go home stuffed and happy ;-)
