I have been going to Jen for 4 years and can absolutely recommend her for your massage. Online booking makes it easy to schedule you appointments and there is plenty of parking. She also offers a membership so you get a discount on any massages that you book. Highly recommended.

I had my first massage with Jen tonight so I am writing while still basking in my post massage bliss so I might be a bit biased. My boyfriend arranged this for me for my birthday and I am so so glad he did.
Jen was so kind and approachable that I was immediately at ease and as a tense person this was fantastic. Her office is cozy and cute and smelled amazing. Jen was thorough during the pre massage chat and during the massage addressed my needs. The massage itself was incredible and I still feel so at ease hours after. Her warm and calming presence is awesome for people who don’t get massages often. I will most definitely be back and would highly recommend a session with Jen.

Full disclosure-​I have been massaging bodies for 23 years. My clientele are extreme athletes who use their bodies hard, mostly for their livelihood. I specialize in deep tissue massage.
Jen is a breath of fresh air and you are so lucky you have someone of her caliber near you! She is calm and knowledgable, her hands are some of the most intuitive I know, her waiting room is AWESOME (clean, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable), her availability and online scheduling rocks, and her prices are ridiculous for her caliber of service. Lucky, lucky, lucky. Thank you for such beautiful bodywork.
Noise cannot be filtered out, no matter how hard we try. The noise mentioned in a previous review is so low… It only takes about 30 seconds to fall into the fog and forget about anything but what jens hands are doing.

I’ve never written a Unilocal review before, but I feel compelled to do so after having the absolute best massage today at Sanctuary Massage. It was heavenly! Jen is wonderful and I felt she not only listened to my concerns about problem areas but gave me feedback and tips regarding my pain. I wanted my massage to be relaxing like a Swedish massage, but knew I needed some deep tissue work on my shoulder. Jen accomodated both and in the end, my body felt amazing in just one hour. I highly recommend!

Jen was highly knowledgable, and an excellent massage therapist. Looking forward to my next appt with her. I would def recommend.

What more can I say, Jen is amazing! Another great experience at Sanctuary Massage. I last visited in 2011 so she did a quick re-​consultation to catch up on my needs for today’s visit but she also uses her intuition to address and customize my massage.
I knew I was a little stressed that’s why I made the appointment but oh my! Jen was able to find all the knots especially the ones I’ve hidden through more gym and swim time. She doesn’t just provide a massage she put my mind in a more reverent state.
She’s professional throughout the process from booking to service, definitely recommend her. Only one thing bothered me was at times, I can hear the traffic noise outside but it was not distracting enough minus a «star» or to stop me from falling asleep (well almost), hehe
She also offers Reiki and meditation services. Her vibe is so calming that I will try the other services to manage stressful times.

Like others I originally found Jen via BuyWIthMe and I am very glad I did.
Jen is very professional and takes the time to discuss what is going on with your body & how she can adjust her massage to be most effective. She is great at both relaxing and deep tissue massages.
Her studio is very clean and comfortable and she uses an online scheduling system that makes it very easy to see what is available & book at anytime.

I’ve been getting massages from Jen for about a year now, and I have no idea why I haven’t written a review yet. She’s absolutely amazing — she can apply some mean pressure if that’s what you like (I do!) and I love getting up after a session and being able to bend my neck in all directions (it’s usually stiff and tense). Currently I am 6 months pregnant and not-​shockingly: Jen can also give wonderful prenatal massages. I’ve gotten them before elsewhere and was not impressed at all — they felt more like a back-​rub that my 3 year old can give me. Jen still works on the tenseness while being gentle enough for me to be comfortable.
On top of being a great massage therapist, she also happens to have the most soothing voice in the world, making the whole experience even more relaxing.

I found Jen in 2011 on Unilocal.She gets such good reviews and I had to give it a try after my previous masseuse raised his price so high that I can no longer afford. Jen is a very relaxed person and always polite. She has the most amazing/​powerful hands. Tell her what you need that day and she will take care your problems.
The studio is located in a business building next to the T. The surrounding noises don’t really bother me. (Jen has music playing in the background) On the contrary, it always reminds me how lucky I am that I can relax while other people are rushing somewhere.
Jen is really great and professional. I don’t think the only negative review here is fair to her business.

Went to Sanctuary Massage for the first time today. What a wonderful experience! The office is cozy and calm, and Jen is a wonderful massage therapist. I’ll be going back!

I first met Jen using a Buy with Me coupon. Great way to find a massage therapist that i like. She knew where my knots were, not hard to find those «wooden blocks» that double as my shoulders. I ended buying several gift certificates so I will be coming back. My most recent visit I brought a friend, who happens to be a massage therapist. We both agree that we are coming back. Very nice, relaxing environment. Jen knows what needs to be done. She is professional and kind.

I am pretty picky when it comes to massages but Jen really is amazing! She checks in to ensure you are comfortable and like the pressure. I have had chronic back problem for as long as I can remember and she magically metls the pain away. If you are on Jen’s customer/​email list she has amazing gift certificate sales which is actually a lot better than deal sites.
The only drawback is that I can hear the outside noise from the T station below. However I do understand the business reason behind this– ease of accessibilty. The amazing massage really does make the noise disappear. If you are driving pull into the train station and on the back wall there are free 2 hr parking spots that is almost always wide open. Then go right in the back entrance its about 10 seconds from the car to the door!
I also wanted to comment on Samantha’s reveiw which I believe is completly unfair. These special groupon, eversale, buy with me deals all have fine print on them and they all give you adequate amount of time to use the fabulous deal you received. Businesses who join these deals rely on the buyers to follow the «rules» they need to run a business. I have let a deal expire before and the owner did not let me redeem. I say it was my own fault for letting the coupon expre so I am not going to give them negative reviews because of my own error. I feel that Jen honoring an expired deal shows that she cares about her customers.

Got the run around with the BuywithMe (she didn’t return my calls when I called to let her know I’d be out of town and would need to schedule after the expiration date), and only when I did finally book an appointment did she call me back to let me know that she would honor the deal, and then rudely lectured me about how it was my fault for «not reading the deal details,» even though I had explained in detail my situation and my attempts to contact her before the expiration date. Based on the unprofessional and rude treatment I received for her, I’d say that there are far too many other massage therapists in the greater Boston area to bother with her. Hope you enjoyed my donation Jen.

A hidden gem in Quincy! My hour at Sanctuary felt like hours of bliss.
Jen was very professional, she asked more questions than any masseuse has, on every aspect of what I wanted fro the massage.
She worked all of my kinks out, then soothed all my stress away. At the end of the session, she went over my «bad area’s» and some tips on how to ease them.
Absolutely the best massage experience I’ve ever had!
I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to get back!

I am so happy that I found Sanctuary Massage. Jen is amazing and so nice. I had to miss an appointment I had made for after work and she was so nice and understanding. When I rescheduled I was in traffic and called to inform her and she told me to take my time because she didn’t want me to stress out or get into an accident and she would stay as late as she needed to for me. That is amazing customer service! And on top of that it was the best massage I have ever had. And I get tons of massages. She worked out my shoulder for me which no one else has been able to do. She asked all the appropriate questions beforehand, has her license to practice in plain view, and a nice cozy place where all the focus is on you. I reccommend Jen at Sanctuary massage to everyone! She will also fit your budget. Her prices are insanely awesome. especially for the quality massage you get.

I had an excellent experience at Sanctuary Massage.
I must admit, I was a little bit skeptical since a «Buy With Me» coupon brought me there, and I have experienced fairly poor at other spas when using that type of group coupon. But I had a fabulous experience here.
First of all, Jen squeezed me in last minute, which was wonderful since I was having some severe neck pain. Second, she asked the right questions about my pain before the massage started to make sure she met all of my my needs. Third, it was an excellent massage (and even though she was really leaning into the knots in my back and neck, I nearly fell asleep.) And she is personable and caring to boot. I will recommend Sanctuary Massage to everybody. Fabulous!
So, look past the ‘professional building’ Sanctuary massage is located in, the service and the massage are top notch!

I had my massage at Sanctuary Massage in Quincy last night and I am hooked. It’s a small little place, just a single bed, but Jen makes you feel totally at ease and comfortable. It’s easily accessible, right on Hancock in Quincy and right around the corner from the Quincy Center T stop. I drove, and had no trouble getting on street parking. I redeemed an eversave certificate and from the moment she started I melted away. When I got home, my husband kept sniffing me since the products she uses are so fantastic and my skin felt so soft. I woke up this morning feeling super relaxed, which is what I went in for!

Thanks to Jen for a great massage! I redeemed an EverSave certificate last week and I will certainly be back for more massages. Although I was a little sore the next day (she admitted to having a heavy hand), the tightness in my back/​shoulders, and my feet too, were beaten out of me :) I felt refreshed and well taken care of. The space is very tiny and I think there is only one masseuse but everything is clean and you can barely hear the noise below, even so close to the train station. I also love the fact that Jen is environmentally friendly and had me do the initial «first time customer» paperwork in person while she just typed in my answers on the laptop! At such a great location so close to home, I’ll be sure to make more appointments in the future.
