This is 5 stars to the older lady wearing the Jewish star necklace who greeted us, and took our order. She smiled, was very pleasant, listened to us, and didn’t seem rushed or unhappy to be working, as so many are in customer service.
I watched as she busied herself cleaning when customers weren’t at the counter. She ran circles around the kids working there. DQ, you have a great lady working there. Give her a raise!

Lunch today here at Dairy Queen. The place is newer than a lot of Dairy Queens, looks to have been updated. Has a nice outdoor patio eating area where I sat, pretty clean, and the service was friendly. The location of the restaurant is lacking, but for a cheap place to get lunch, I am happy. Food was good, fries were crispy, and the shake was actually full (not 1 inch below the rim like the DQ in Warren)

Had the Pumpkin Blizzard. It was OK, but if you are expecting something similar to the Rita’s Pumpkin Pie Blendini, you will be disappointed. Without comparing the Pumpkin Blizzard is definitely a good choice though. I am not a frequent visitor to DQ, but when I do go I am generally happy with my choice. Good to have an ice cream option all year.
