History

Established in 2002.

Founded in 2002 as Quality Health Care Training Academy, we offered in-​depth Nursing Assistant Exam Prep classes. We have grown and expanded our program offering with vocational nursing courses, and in 2010 became Southwest Florida Technical Institute. Since 2010 we have continued to evolve our dynamic curriculum and in 2014 began offering associate degree programs as Suncoast College of Health. Throughout the years and name changes we have maintained the same experienced faculty and staff.
