Modern Solutions was started because I believe there is a better way to resolve family disputes without excessive litigation through pre-​filing mediation. As such, I stopped taking contested divorces for legal representation.

As an attorney, I entered into family law with the philosophy of helping my clients through their divorce, while keeping their family and finances as intact as possible. However, by protecting their rights and preparing them for litigation, I was also teaching them how to be, and stay, combative. This litigation driven divorce is both financially and emotionally draining. It further destroys the parties’ relationship, but it can also harm the relationships with children, family and friends. Mediation is eventually court ordered, where the majority of the cases are resolved, but at what cost?

Many divorces can be resolved with the use of pre-​filing mediation. At Modern Solutions, we are able to help couples save time, money, and stress.

Tricia Fradley is FL Supreme Ct. Certified Family Mediator. The Florida native, along with her six siblings, grew up locally in the Tampa Bay area. She received a BA in Psychology at the University of South Florida before getting her JD at Stetson University College of Law. After 8 years as an Asst. State Attorney she opened a Family Law Practice. She currently owns Modern Solutions, LLC a Divorce Mediation practice offering mediation and document preparation services to divorcing couples in the St. Petersburg, Bradenton and Sarasota area.

Tricia offers a realistic outlook with a no-​nonsense approach to her mediation sessions. Her knowledge of both the legal and psychological issues of divorce provides a compassionate perspective with a keen vision for things that otherwise may be overlooked. She is able to help navigate and assist the parties in reaching financial and parenting agreements that fits their family’s unique needs and serves as a guide in the future.
