Our services include homemaker and companion activities such as daily meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and transportation/​running errands. We also provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, hygiene support, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring and ambulation. We can also help those who are recovering from surgery, injury, struggling with a long term illness or condition like Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s or ALS. We also offer a line of personal emergency response systems (PERS) that allow our clients to feel safer when a caregiver is not present.

With an ongoing commitment to helping people live healthier, more independent lives in the comfort of their own homes, Home Helpers works with seniors, new and expectant mothers, those recovering from illness or injury, and individuals facing lifelong challenges.

This local agency was establish in 2015 by the owner who seeks to make a positive difference in the lives of the people in the community. He proudly continues the Home Helpers tradition by creating jobs and hiring compassionate, professional caregivers while providing a necessary service. With Direct Link, he seeks to incorporate emergency alert devices into all care plans to ensure clients are safe and comfortable ²⁴⁄₇.

Business Owner

As a Certified Alzheimer’s Educator through the National Certification Board for Alzheimer’s Care, Jonathan understands the positive impact caregivers can make on families. He wants to bridge the gap between staying independent at home and the more traditional assisted living or nursing home options.

Jonathan was born in Tampa and lived most of his life in the Tampa Bay area.
