Formalites Bridal is an award winning boutique specializing in distinctive wedding gowns not found in every other shop. For Mother’s, we carry youthful gowns that hide the flaws of time. Also available are tuxedo’s for the men, and invitations by Carlson Craft.

History

Established in 2005.

Formalities Bridal started five years ago when there were no bridal shops east of I-​75 that carried affordable bridal, mother’s gowns and tuxedo rentals. Lakewood Ranch is a great place to have a business and we certainly filled a much needed niche.

I have always had a passion for serving people. In my twenties I was a flight attendant for People Express Airlines and continued working for the airlines for 13 years until I retired and changed careers. I became a Realtor for almost 10 years before opening Formalities. It has been so fulfilling and the response from customers over the past 5 years has been incredible.
