Cream of AMI

When we visit AMI, we always come to this ice cream place! In fact, we walk right by the «other» joint and head in to Cream for huge scoops of ice cream and friendly service.
The ice cream is delicious and there is something for everyone. I must give a special shout out to the Almond Joy, since that is what brings my mom back every time!
Tables are kept clean, bathrooms are good, and the owner serves up massive scoops!

Best. Ice cream. Ever. We’ve been all around this area and finally someone told us about this place. So yummy!

Took 7 kids into this gem of a ice cream shop on our last night on the island. Customer service was friendly and quick and we got in there before a large group. The kids were encouraged to test flavors and the lady behind the counter was very kind and patient with all of them. The Ice cream was delicious and plenty of flavors to choose from. Loved the old school vibe with beach theme and cute quotes on the wall. Will come again next year!

This is by far the best ice cream I’ve had in all of anna Maria. But! It took 32 minutes to get my ice cream. They had ONE very nice lady working on a Friday night and the line was out the door. They should really have more employees working — especially on the weekends!

They make delicious homemade ice cream. We stopped by today to have a cone on our way home from dinner. I had the chocolate lovers in a waffle cone and it was heavenly! We enjoy this ice cream when we are on Anna Maria

Delicious! Well worth it! Ice cream was great! Ordered the cookie dough and it had the perfect amount of candy to cream! Family members got the amaretto almond and chocolate lovers which they also loved. Well worth it. And after venturing out on a rainy evening! Hope to return again soon!

Their motto is «biggest scoops on the island» and they certainly are living up to that. Scoop prices start at 2.95 for the very fulfilling «kiddie» single scoop all the way to 6.95 for the double scoop on the chocolate dipped waffle cone.
They have over 12 flavors to choose from, starting with the old favorites and moving into fun flavors like snickers, trashcan, superman, and key lime pie. This store serves up a local brand of Big Olaf ice cream, made in Sarasota. Great location right on Gulf drive, my suggestion is to grab a cone with the family and walk across the street to the beach to catch the sunset.

Great Ice Cream but bad hours. Actually closes at 9:00 P. M on Weekdays. Fresh ice cream and a lot of choices.

Delicious! I got two kid-​sized scoops — coconut and mint chocolate chip. My mom got one scoop — butter pecan. The kid scoops were plenty big. The place is cute and clean and the service was friendly. Can’t ask for anything more. We’ve been debating whether it was expensive. I thought we got generous scoops, and both cones together were about $ 7. Not bad in my opinion.

This is THE place to go for quintessential ice cream that will melt your tastebuds away!
When stepping in this ice cream shop, you will still feel that island flair that you do walking around Anna Maria Island. Bright aqua colored walls will grace your presence along with ice cream flavors ranging from the traditional flavors like chocolate, butter pecan, and vanilla to more adventurous flavors like Kahlua krunch, key lime pie, or blueberry cheesecake. Bask yourself in ice cream heaven.
Blueberry cheesecake ice cream was my #1 pick this time, and it was cool, comfy, and Mmm Mmm satisfying.
Check this ice cream getaway out when you are on the island. Another wonderful fact about this place is it is locally made in a small Amish creamery in Sarasota called Big Olafs. Best of worlds of having ice cream on an island and locally made. Can’t get any better than that!

The ice cream in DELICIOUS! And so are the homemade waffle cones!!! I had the coconut ice cream, which was amazing with crunchy bits of toasted coconut. What a cute little shop! Very clean!

They serve Olaf ice cream which is just delicious. The chocolate has so much flavor. I also tried the birthday cake flavor which was very good. Milk Shakes are super thick hence the over sized straw they give you. The place is super clean and the only draw back is parking.

Such a cute little ice cream shoppe! The flavors are awesome. Almond Joy is amazing & so is Snickers.

This place has some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! The Dutch Peanut Butter Fudge was amazing! The coconut was fresh and had a great aftertaste! Can’t wait to go back and try it again!

Tried Tyler’s and Cream while on the island. Both ice creams were of similar quality so I would just go to whichever you are closest to. Cream had larger portions for a single and didn’t charge extra for more than one flavor. Tyler’s charged extra if you wanted more than one flavor on a single cone. Tyler’s makes their ice cream on site but again, similar quality to Cream. The girls at this place were really nice and gave me the cup of ice cream left at the bottom of a container before they switched it to the new one since they were going to throw it out anyways. I thought that was nice.

Great little ice cream shop located right across from the beach! The perfect place to stop in and grab a refreshing bowl or cone of ice cream after a long day in the sun. They serve Big Olaf ice cream which is absolutely delicious. On top of being an adorable ice cream parlor, Cream also sells coastal gifts and décor. The inside is clean, the service is friendly and the ice cream is so yum — definitely stop in if you are in the Bradenton beach area!

I would suggest stopping by the ice cream shop before you head off Anna Maria Island!
It’s in the perfect spot to grab dessert after dinner and take your cone to the beach to watch the sun set.
The ice cream is from a local Amish company (Big Olaf) hand made and brought to the shop weekly. With all of the options you’re guaranteed to have a favorite flavor — mines the Coconut Almond Joy. The staff is friendly and I couldn’t have had a better experience.
