Great casual place with an unbeatable view. We went for dinner on Friday and wasnt expecting anything fancy. The oysters were fantastic, drinks were great and the price was more than reasonable. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for breakfast the next morning.

Do not go. The staff is rude and food overpriced. The view is great though. I will not be back

You walk up and order & you get a famous persons name to put on your table for the server to bring your food to. There were nine of us and everyone thought the food was ok nothing special. I had the salmon dinner it was ok as were the sides. The view is nice and it’s a location we were able to walk to from were we were staying. Just average…

Yes! A quick and easy seafood restaurant with terrific service and high quality food. If you have not been to this location within a year or so then you MUST revisit.

I’ve been here for dinner, and it was great, but breakfast was… Gross. Burnt eggs, and if you don’t know how to cook eggs, you don’t know what burnt eggs are. Hash browns that are a gooey, disgusting«au gratin» paste, almost burnt toast. The only good thing was the sausage, and it wasn’t the greatest. Never again.

Found on Unilocal.Had good reviews. I got burger and fries which was great. Company got grilled scallops and red potatoes. She said scallops were great. Also tried coconut shrimp which was delish, a little too crunchy, but still tasty. giving 4 stars only because for those 3 items and 1 drink it was $ 40 plus. I did over hear that margaritas are $ 3.50 and if you’re someone who wants to stay for a while and drink on the pier, they have hooks for your purse under the bar and outlets to charge your phone, good thinking!

After a good eat work some of it off with walk out on the pier. Nothing fancy but very clean place and that’s better then some high end places can do. Four adult meals for under $ 50.00.

Great location and view. Good for drinks and oysters, just sad to see them still using styrofoam plates. Something at least recyclable would be much better for the environment.

Best part is the view… AND the fresh-squooze oj. How you can mess up an omelet is beyond me. My Western omelet, though packed with goodies, was dry & relatively tasteless. The grits emanated a burnt taste. The«healthy» omelet was greasy & overcooked. No bueno. 25 bucks for breakfast??? Will NOT recommend nor return

A casual and counter service version of the mainland restaurants, which is a nice concept for its location. Super cute décor and bright, airy décor. Prices were high compared to the restaurant versions. I had slightly small and slightly over cooked sea scallops that came with one side for $ 16.99. My husband doesn’t eat seafood and got chicken fingers off the appetizer menu and he said they were good. My favorite hush puppies were he $.99 highlight of my meal.

Friends recommended we try the Anna Maria Oyster Bar, but couldn’t find it! After enjoying mahi mahi sandwiches for lunch, we read the fine print. Thought we were eating at AMOB. Turns out it stands for Anna Maria Oyster Bar! Food was good, sitting outside on the deck by the pier was great!

A decent, clean, fresh, tasty place to eat. Servings are plenty. The fish sandwich was fresh and perfectly cooked. Perfect balance between tasty and casual. The only drawback was their standard fry, but I’m picky about my fries.

This is a great, casual restaurant. The atmosphere is super friendly and the service is prompt. You will order and pay at the counter and then seat yourself. Our food was delivered promptly. My boyfriend had ½ order of baby back ribs that actually fell off the bone; he enjoyed them very much! I ordered the coconut shrimp appy, which was simply 6 deliciously prepared shrimp! Yummy! The margaritas were fairly good, and the price was right. You can sit inside the bright cheery restaurant and bar areas, or enjoy the view of the pier and bay outside; either way, you won’t be disappointed! P. S.the bar stools are a kick!

One is in our home town of Wells Maine(Wells Lobster Pound on Webhannet Dr.);and the other is AMOB(Anna Maria Oyster Bar on Bridge Street pier, Bradenton Florida. Do yourself a favor by never passing up the opportunity to visit either restaurant… YOUWON’T REGRETIT!

Came for drinks during a happy hour during the week. The bartenders were excellent! We came back on a Saturday afternoon because of them, especially Tida. She was a wonderful server and the drinks she made were excellent. We ordered the coconut shrimp and calamari appetizers and they were really good, too. We had a chance to speak to Tim, one of the new partners and he couldn’t have been more pleasant. The place looks great and the view is spectacular. Highly recommend you stop in.

So excited this is on the pier. It is super cute and the food is good but WAY too bright. Bright is great for breakfast and lunch but by dinner time it would be nice if they could dim the lights so it doesn’t feel like a cafeteria.

I’m impressed. I’ve eaten here twice, once with my wife and once with my brother. We all liked the food and the prices are reasonable. I loved the oysters on the half shell and my brother said the baked oysters were great. $ 4 for a glass of not bad Chardonnay! Location on the water is wonderful. Service was fast and the staff is super friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

The location is very cool out on the pier. The décor is really clean simple and modern. The bartenders were super friendly and drinks are good. Love the abbreviated menu because it has the seafood classics that we are always looking for and it makes me feel as though they can concentrate on the freshness of these items. Fried oysters were great seafood gumbo was decent. Looking forward to coming back next year to how it is doing.

Day 4 after their opening and we were surprised to find they weren’t full at 7 pm. Seems folks haven’t found it yet. We are fans of the Anna Maria Oyster Bar in Bradenton, but live on AMI so we were excited to see them back on the Island. Not familiar with the concept, we were surprised to find that you order at the front counter — find your own table — and have your food brought to you. They do have a fun way of finding you to deliver your food using the names of famous people. They have a full bar and high tops and regular tables both inside and outside. They have a drink machine that dispenses 62 different flavors of Cole products — anything you want. Now for the food… my daughter ordered the coconut shrimp — said the sauce that came with it was great. My husband had a burger with cheese grits. Said the grits were very good and the burger was OK. I asked for Shrimp tacos listed on their paper menus but they did not have them, so I had shrimp and scallops, they were good. All served on plastic plates. We sat outdoors — nice ambiance on the water. Seems it would be good for large groups, families with noisy kids and anyone wanting a casual setting or a quick bite. We will go back. And they serve breakfast too!
