We called for gyros and they had none so we got a calazone and salad. She said it would be about 15 minutes so we waited and went to pick it up. After getting there i sat another 30 minutes waiting for my food. We eventually got it and brought it home. The calazone was not cooked and the salad was nothing special for the price. After having to recook the calazone i couldnt even eat it. There was one piece of meat in it and no sauce. I payed 11 dollars for bread and cheese. Needless to say i will not be back.

Imagine a high end restaurant that serves lobster tail and filet mignon in bland and boring ways. Now imagine the opposite of that and you have Maddios: Proud home of the very worst foods prepared the very best ways! What do I mean by that? Me and my dad split one of their specialties, the 3 pound«Iron Man Hoagie»(The very friendly owner Matt let us know 1 customer had eaten theirs in under 5 minutes, another ate 2 in under an hour!, while another was completed by a 13 girl old girl) yet me and my dad struggled to finish just half of this sandwich each! This mountain of a meal came stacked high with hot sausage, ham, salami, capicolla, pepperoni, grilled peppers, onions, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, jalapenos, coleslaw and as a first for me the layers were stuffed with full provolone sticks! Matt said he dreamed it up after too many rum and cokes one night, and I for one hope he keeps them flowing freely! The shop was casual but clean and looked brand new, the prices were all extremely low and reasonable. The menu had a ton of fun offerings ranging from hoagie and pizza standards to inventive offerings like the spicy 3 mile island hoagie or the death dog hot dog smothered in chili, cheese, jalapenos and onions. Other than a plain dinner salad, this would be a bad place to come on a diet, but as long as you’re up for indulging yourself I can’t imagine a better place to do it. I’ll be looking for reasons to come back soon!

New pizza shop on Broadview blvd across from the funeral home. Good thin pizza. Very nice set up. Menu includes pizza, appetizers, wing dings, gourmet hoagies, regular hoagies, salads, & calzones/strombolis. Good experience except it seems to be a hang out for the owners friends.
