Description

Specialties

Lockhorn is a small, family-owned cidery. We specialize in crafting all-natural hard ciders of the highest quality. Our ciders are made especially for those who crave a seriously dry adult beverage free of added sweeteners and chemical stabilizers.

We serve simple Gluten Free food.

Our rustic modern downtown Bozeman tasting room with outdoor fireplace makes this the perfect Bozeman experience for family and friends.

History

Established in 2014.

We (Lockhorn Cider House owners Glen and Anna Deal) began renovating our downtown Bozeman 1960’s cinder block garage in the summer of 2012 with the dream of crafting all-natural hard apple ciders of the highest quality an bringing the best of old world tradition to the «Wild West».

Over the next few years, we transformed the old garage into a classy and comfortable tasting room, with a fireplace and outdoor courtyard surrounded by over 250 native wildflowers, grasses, and trees. We translated our cider making process from 6 gallon batches, to our 8,000 gallon wine fermentation tanks.

In February 2014, 3 days after own third child was born, we opened our doors and have been crafting and pouring our all-natural seriously dry ciders for an enthusiastic crowd of Bozeman locals and visitors ever since.

We have continued to expand our food menu by offering local cheese and salami boards and local bison sausage served with house made sauerkraut and micro-greens.
