I like the atmosphere, the people, the fast wifi, and the amount of seating. I’m not a fan of their coffee… and It’s a little over priced.

One of my favorite coffee spots in Bozeman! We have many but love cold smokes atmosphere, great coffee, friendly staff and good quick eats. Plus the simple pleasures of latte art are always fun. They’ve been in their new location off of 19th and the space is great, works for study and work sessions, relaxing fireside or catching music on some of the evenings.

Such a cool coffee shop — the staff is friendly and fast, the coffee is really good. I’ve been here three times on this visit to Bozeman, and I’ll definitely be back!

Quick and friendly service. One of the best dirty chais I’ve had in a long time. Perfect stop on the road trip.

My favorite coffeehouse in Bozeman. The only complaint I have is that sometimes it can get a little loud because the whole interior is decorated with metal. Nice fireplace and chairs around it, nice tables and chairs and the rest of the restaurant, and really nice stuff. They also have live music on Friday evenings.

Food and coffee is great, service is good but the drive threw is nasty taking 10 mins just to get to order and almost 25 to receive what you ordered!

Absolutely love this place. Wish they had a non-dairy based chai and that they were open later during the summer.

Has to be one of the coolest coffee shops I have been in. Lots of distinct seating areas. Cool color pallette. Benches and later chairs by the fire place. And they were open till midnight.

These guys consistently provide a high quality experience. The only downside is that they will definitely charge you for the high-end experience. They feature high-end local coffee roasters and they’re espresso is terrific. I love that they’re open late and have tons of seating and work areas. Best coffee on the 19th corridor by a long shot.

What a great coffee spot! The people behind the counter are awesome. Elijah chats me up every time I go in there and is always making jokes and checking in to see how my day is going. They have tasty coffee and some great teas. Their Cream Cheese Cinammon Roll is delicious(though slightly over-priced, if you ask me). Their meal food(breakfast burrito/panini) is decent, but I wouldn’t go there just to get it. And I’ve had trouble with the internet once or twice(hence the 4 star rather than 5). But the set-up is great for chatting or for getting work done. Tons of outlets, great art on the walls, and overall an awesome place to hang for a while. Best of all, they stay open late(one of a few places that does this in town). But if you plan to stay late too, get there before 7(when all the other coffee shops close) because there’s a huge influx of people right around then.

This place is amazing. Im biased because I’m involved with Brown Water Coffee, but I’m from out of state and was here over a year ago. Anyways Im visiting again and came in to get a coffee this week and Lauren remembered who I was! Over a year y’all since my last visit. Lauren, the hard work that you put into remembering names matters and I just wanted to say thanks.

I kept hearing about this coffee shop from people who worked around it. They said the coffee drinks were good, that there were plenty of places to sit, and that it was just a really cool coffee shop. So after deciding to pass on my usual Starbucks for just one day and give it a try, suffice it to say, I was impressed. I had their signature espresso drink, the Cold Smoke and it was small, strong, tasty, and perfect. They made a pattern thing on my girlfriend’s drink and she loved it. The coffee shop itself is awesome. Lots of chairs, booths, and places to sit for any number of people. They also have a nice fireplace you can sit around and an area for kids to play. The Internet is fast too, so much faster than Starbucks. My routine went from going to Starbucks everyday, with slow Internet, and maybe a place to sit, to getting a Cold Smoke, always finding a place to sit, and fast Internet.

By far the best coffee shop in Bozeman. They make specialty coffee and their drip is pretty tasty. I usually go for the brew but overall everything here is delicious. The atmosphere is diverse and yet you feel local when here. The barista’s and bakers are friendly and remember who you are. The area they are located in is perfect for me and it seems that I end up here everyday. Even though their food is a little pricey, this shop blows Starbucks out of the water.

Wow. I can’t even explain the energy if this place. Phenomenal. Indigo children everywhere with their intense energy and positivity. You can feel the place flow with vibrant energy Both Baristas were phenomenal. John made my drink and Matt provided my conversation for the 10 minutes I was there. This place really gets it; when the line is non existent workers are busy talking with people and engaging in a real conversation, and when it’s busy they are cranking out coffees like there is no tomorrow. It’s pretty refreshing to have real conversations, with real people, and a real amazing coffee shop like this for it all. For sure this will be my new«coffee shop spot» during this trip back to Montana.

Considering this was in a generic strip mall, this place was FAB! From the guy behind the counter to sitting down by the fire and the great coffee I had! In addition they are involved with donating money to clean water projects overseas! LOVELOVELOVE

Love this place! I am not a coffee snob by any means but I must say this is really darn good coffee(Drip. I’m a fan of the old fashion black stuff). Really smooth, perfect temperature, and not bitter. My friends and mom have gotten latte’s and other espresso drinks and had equally great reviews. Nice ambiance in the new location. They really try to cater to local musicians and students. Always had great service as well every time I go there! Parking and access is very easy + they are open late(Midnight) unlike every other coffee shop in town. So don’t deal with the trouble of finding a parking spot or chaos of Wild Joe’s, Leaf and Bean, and Starbucks… I would recommend Cold Smoke over those guys any day. (+) They have a a drive-thru Pour over coffees Private meeting area and kids play area (-) Wish they offered Stevia as a sweetener

Staff was friendly but our lattes were weak and overwhelmed by the milk and soy. Tasted more like warm milk than a coffee drink. Glad they only had the 16 ounce size, not 24!

I came to Cold Smoke to get a Mocha Frappé and got what tasted like a frozen chocolate milk. I asked if they put coffee in it and their carefully worded response was«there’s coffee in there». I didn’t taste any so I had to pay $ 2 more for 2 shots if espresso. Afterward I found out there is supposedly coffee in their powdered mix. So I paid $ 6.25 for a so-so blended mocha. Until they add real coffee to their blended drinks I would avoid this place.

Met a friend here for lunch and enjoyed the turkey panini and the chocolate mint tea, yum! Service was fast and friendly. The person waiting on me hadn’t tried much on the menu and wasn’t able to give a receipt, so that could use some improvement. Atmosphere is laid back. Lots of space at the new location, love that! Will be back :)
