Legacy Dental Team is family-​owned and operated. Dr. Acosta and his wife Yesseika named their company Legacy because they believe their company will be distinguished for high quality and patient care for many years to come thus leaving a legacy for their future generations.

Business Owner

Dr. Acosta completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Pathology. After graduating from college, Dr. Acosta completed a Masters degree in Biomedical science at Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Acosta then returned to Gainesville, Florida to pursue his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. After graduating from dental school in 2009, Dr. Acosta moved back to his hometown in South Florida where he currently resides with his wife Yesseika and their son Daniel. In his spare time he enjoys traveling with his family, taking his son to the park, and watching movies at home.
