Blake’s Towing and Transport

Still waiting for a jump. Was told it should be an hour. That was an hour and a half ago. Geico called them and they said they had the truck on gps and it had to stop for gas. This tow company sucks.

This is 2^nd time that Geico Emergency Service dispatched Blake’s towing to give me a jump start. The first time, they said they’d be there is an hour and weren’t. When I called heir dispatcher, he told me the driver got called by the police for an accident and would be another 20 minutes. It took several calls to both Geico and Blake’s before someone finally arrived about 2 hours after my original call. They were unable to jump start my 20 122 Sonata and said I had more issues than just a battery. I had them tow t to my local Goodyear shop where they replaced the battery and nothing else was wrong.
Just under a month later, my brake lights would not go off, even if the car wasn’t running, and the battery got drained. Geico nice again dispatched Blake’s who was supposed to be there in an hour. This time, it again took several calls to both Geico and Blake’s and they finally showed up 3 hours fryer my original call. Again, they were unable to jump start the car and said I had more issues than just the battery. After a tow to the same local Goodyear, I had a broken brake switch, which was fixed, and they charged my battery — all for $ 55.
If you have a choice, DO NOT USE BLAKE’S TOWING. They have prove to be unreliable and incapable of jump starting a car with a dead battery.

Worst tow truck company I have ever dealt with! They are SOOOO sketchy! The tow truck driver looked like he was SOOOO HIGH! He is a liability on his own towing my car under the influence. They wouldn’t let me get to my car before I paid for it what if they were a bunch of crooks and took my info. They are in the middle of nowhere I wouldn’t recommend my worst nightmare to this company! ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE MONEY!

Lowest of the low. Told me an hour, then in an hour made a silly excuse, but made sure to ask me twice about the tools in my van. Then told me an additional hour and a half. 50 minutes later Josh calls again to tell me they’re going to be on time but they want to keep my van overnight (it was 2 pm). Felt this was really shady and told him absolutely not. 5 min later my service calls and tells me Blake’s cancelled and someone will be out in an hour. Ended up having to sit in rush hour traffic for two hours. Run, do not walk, way from this dishonest operation.

BEWARE! I made an agreement to have them take my car to my house & charge $ 60 to my card for the tow (they already had the card information on file). Instead they took my front bumper off (shoved it into my car & left scratches all over the leather) took my car to their lot over 15 miles from my house! I called trying to get my car to my house they refused twice! Then, about a week later, my car is on my driveway, (with pieces hanging off & my front bumped inside) and then charged my card nearly $ 900 (usually you don’t give card info unless you agree to amount being charged, but since it was already on file & I agreed to the $ 60 charge, they helped themselves to the rest) I went inside and tried to reason with the owner, he just yelled and screamed at me like a child, then told me to never come back (went so far as to lock the door as I exited the office) after that encounter, I took them to court over the situation, they lied to the judge, and also paid an «expert» to lie under oath. DO NOT USE THEM! BEWARE! SCUMMY PEOPLE OWN THIS TOWING COMPANY!
I recommend taking your business to Panther Towing, they are GREAT! Affordable! And don’t damage your property & stick you with a bill over 10x what you agree to.

I just ran out of gas on the side of the road– but thought it was something else because the gauge was not reading right. Larry picked me up and was very courteous. he checked out the car including the battery and said he had a hunch it was a fuel issue. So instead of taking me to a mechanic where they would have definitely taken advantage, he said– let’s put some gas in it and see if it starts. IT DID! He saved me a lot of money. Had I gone to a mechanic they could have told me anything and I would have not known the difference.
These guys are awesome, quick reliable and honest.

My Husband got into an accident and my insurance company sent this company out to retrieve the car. The police gave us 30minutes to have it off the scene. Blake’s Towing was there in 10minutes and arrived before the towing company for the police did. Driver was professional and considerate given our circumstances. This is an A+++++ company!
