Fuller RV Rentals & Sales

I rented a motor home to drive my wife and pets from PA to NH. Fuller RV has a good inventory and selected the right size unit for my needs. Their equipment was in excellent condition and they offer a 24 hour emergency number which I used. The reason I did not give them 4 stars was because of added fees and unusual requirements. One fee which everyone should know was called «Collision Damage» which was $ 29.95 per day. I assumed the insurance covered any damages but that was not the case. I had a stone hit the windshield causing a dime size crack. The stone was thrown from a passing car which was not my fault. When I returned the unit I found out from the owner that the insurance was a $ 2,500 deductible which means that any damage below the $ 2,500 was my responsibility. I ended up paying over a $ 100 extra to cover the windshield replacement. Aside from the rental fee the business charges $ 200 extra if you have pets and a $ 130 «Prep» fee. The prep fee covers a 45 minute orientation of the rental unit.
I was expected to return the unit full of gas and clean which was reasonable. I also was expected to pay for any propane which was also reasonable. Expecting me to empty the waste tanks and pressure wash the unit was not reasonable. Finding a 12 foot high washing station is next to impossible. I did not wash the unit and was charged $ 80 for a 20 minute pressure wash. My advice to perspective renters is beware of the added fees and high cost insurance. Also be prepared to negotiate your fees.

We were first time renters heading to Bonnarro. When we arrived we were having issues with the generator cutting out after 30 mins in the extreme heat. Sherrie (the owner) immediately had two plans to get us running, get someone into bonnaroo or a willingness to cover the cost for a brand new generator at Walmart to get us up and running. Fortunately we didn’t have to get the new generator, she got someone in really quickly and we were back up and running before it was much of an issue. Challenges sometimes happen, and it is how she managed the challenge that gets her five stars. Also, for what it is worth (a reference to some of the other reviews) we drove the RV at the proper speed, didn’t check any curbs, hit any trees, tailgate any tractor trailers (rocks), and cleaned it up upon return… and guess we got back… Our deposit :)
We’ll be back next year for another trip, Sherrie was reasonable, accessible (we called pretty late when the generator was glitchy) and professional!

Clearly the negative reviews were from people who have never rented an rv before. My experience was excellent. The family had a wonderful time. Service was above and beyond. Don’t listen to angry people who expect nothing to ever go wrong and try to take a family business down. We are already sure we will rent from them next year for our 850 mile trip to Williamsport.

I rented an rv here, service was great, and I love the rv. No problems for me at all, I’ll defeninatly rent there again.

Came in to check out the business. They have great service and very clean. They seemed to really enjoy their business. I’m looking for a caning trip in the coming year and testing out the waters. I would recommend to anyone to come by just to speak with the staff.

What a wonderful place. It’s nice to see a family run business that really cares about what they sell and how they conduct their operation.
I recently got into an accident with my camper and had to rent another one, the thought of renting from one of those national chains with the enormous advertising on the side really turned my stomach.
What a great surprise when I drove to Boylston and saw these meticulously maintained motorhomes available to rent.
I was even more impressed by the level of passion and commitment that the owners showed: there was professionally dressed staff outside washing down the motorhomes, other people inside shampooing the rugs of their vehicles, making every inch of these vehicles look like they just rolled off the showroom floor. These people really take pride in what they do and it shows.
They are a little bit out-​of-​the-​way, but believe me we are so glad we made the trip.

We rented from Fullers RV twice this summer and will recommend to anyone to do the same.
The rental process is wonderful. They are Family owned, they all take great pride in making sure satisfaction is achieved to the highest level.
Excellent customer service, friendly and thorough explanations of the equipment.
Great selection of trailers and motorhomes that are all maintained and clean to perfection.
They do not rent junk, they take care of the vehicles and it shows.
From small travel trailers to the super luxurious rock star bus motorhomes, they have it all.
I like the quality & variety of equipment fullers offers, unlike the national chain rental .com Rv companies.

Avoid at all costs. They slip in tons of hidden fees, flat out lied to us about the drop off time (which of course meant more fees), and were terrible people in general. Just an awful experience.

My wife and I just returned from a week away with a Fuller Motorhome. We have rented RVs from a number of other providers in different parts of the country… and by far… this has been the best experience yet. We have very high expectations of those we do business with and Fuller Motorhomes exceeded our expectations in every way. First, the motorhome we rented was in tip top shape. It was spotless from top to bottom, everything worked perfectly and the towels, bed linen, and kitchen utencils were as nice as we have at home. Second, the orientation we had to the rig by both Sherry and Bobby was complete and well explained. Sherry provided all the documentation and information we needed ahead of the trip and Bobby was so great at educating us in a unassuming manner that I felt very comfortable asking anything I wanted about the RV without feeling embarrassed. They both made us feel even more excited about the vacation. Third, like no other we have rented from, they provide a 24 hour, 7 days a week hotline in case you need help… and they answer it directly. When we retuned the rig we were greeted warmly — they had parked our car right out front for us to make the transfer of our items very simple.
I would definately recommend Fuller with the highest of praise. We will definiately rent from them again… they have a huge selection to pick from which is clearly better than most.

Seeing the negatives on Unilocal confirmed that we probably did get scammed. To be upfront, I rented one of the larger RVs and it worked great for a 4-​day rental. I had looked around and there weren’t any others available anywhere. Now I can sort of see why — a lot of folks probably avoided Fuller so that’s why we ended up with them. Bad location — yes they are far out there. Minor nits — some of the cabinet doors didn’t work, etc. Overall we didn’t have severe problems like the other Unilocalers. The reason why I give them 2 stars is their sketchy policy of taking a significant deposit and refunding it 6 – 8 weeks after you return the vehicle. We were desperate, so we signed, but you get that worried feeling when a company is so customer-​unfriendly that they arrange the contract so that you cannot fight any complaints through the credit card company. Specifically, yes they nickel and dimed us about items here and there. But the thing that got me was a $ 120 charge for a «dented hubcap, had to be replaced.» This is really ridiculous. Of course, they «replaced it» so there was no evidence left. Of course, they never told me about any of this, or else I would have complained. I had called twice during that long stretch of time and they kept saying it’s in progress. In other words, they are not going to tell me what they’re charging me for. Finally, I get a mailed bill with the charges. There was nothing wrong with the hubcap! We didn’t go anywhere near anything that could have dented it. I got the 29′ model which has tires so large that the hubcap is nowhere near the edge of the sidewalks. On top of that, I had taken pictures of the entire vehicle, just in case they tried to pull this kind of problem. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t find the pictures two months afterwards. That’s why I gave up and didn’t pursue this. That is why after reading the other reviews I realize I got rooked.

If I could put worse than one start I would!
We recently rented a large RV for a friend/​family trip that was a very long drive. This company was horrible to deal with for the entire process.
1. They sent us on a 200 mile trip with tires that wouldn’t even pass inspection! The result, not one flat tire but two! Yes you heard me two! We had one flat tire that went and were stranded at a gas station for over 4 hours. Once the tow company came to our rescue, we discover that we have no jack or any equipment that could help us get the flat tire off and the spare tire on the back off to put on. They never disclosed that there would be no equipment or jack on the RV… I mean isn’t that something you would want to tell people traveling over 200 miles???
2. After finally replacing the flat with the spare and having to use random equipment that the tow company used, we put the spare on and are on our way. Well an hour into the trip again, the spare now blows and we are stranded on the side of a highway. Come to find out, the spare tire wasn’t even the right size making all the pressure be on the spare tire because it was too large. We called Sherry from Fuller RV to now say what the heck are we supposed to do. Well she said call Triple AAA. Well come to find out, your regular Triple AAA coverage doesn’t cover anything with RV’s so nice of them to inform us of that! So again, another 7 hours on the side of road on Thanksgiving Day and that was the advice we get. We then call her back and say this is ridiculous all these tow companies have advised us that both the tires were not up to par to even pass inspection at all. They told us to buy two tires from the guy and they would reimburse us. That is just the start… never called us back to ensure we got everything fixed or were even ok!!!
3. Next, there are no dumping stations close to this place and you are responsible for dumping the sewer, so good luck if you rent from them. My advice, take the charge of the $ 50 or whatever they charge you to do it themselves and by hand. Make them pay for their horrible service and empty your toilet.
4. After returning the RV and Sherry telling us that we would be reimbursed for the full $ 700 we spent on two tires, the labor, etc. She says she will talk to her shady husband who I don’t even know if she exists. We then talk to her briefly the next day and she informs us that her husband will not reimburse us for the full amount and just the cost of the two tires (that were bad to begin with)!!! So after 20 phone calls asking everyone there to have Sherry’s husband return our call, we get nothing back, not one phone call but a serious attitude and even a couple of hang-​ups from the woman on the phone!!!
I wish we would have known, so take it from all the people on here, DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS!!! The worst customer service I have ever encountered, and the rudest people ever. Not to mention, a piece of crap RV that wasn’t worth the money we dished out!

I have never been so nickel and dimed in my life. Never rent from this company. They do not even have a dumping facility within a reasonable distance to return the RV. Security deposits mean nothing to these people. Worst RV rental company I have ever dealt with. Charging $ 2500 for a crappy RV is not my idea of value. I did not get my money’s worth and only received headaches. Stay FAR away.

Anyway, they have a 30-​day cancellation policy where they will take your deposit. Which is reasonable, except for the fact that they never told me that when I made the reservation. When I had to cancel they just said «read the fine print on your contract». Read the contract that they sent me less than 30 days out from my rental.
They are a shady bunch of crooks over at Fuller. I have other friends that have rented from them as well, and have heard nothing but bad experiences. Stay away from these clowns.

Wow! I am so unbelievably impressed with Fuller RV sales and rentals! In addition to be extremely professional and personable, they took time out of their very busy schedule to volunteer at our Charity Truck Day & Baby Food Drive. Sheri, one of the owners, is especially knowledgeable. They offer a wide variety of new and used motor homes for rent or for sale. Their vehicles are clean and comfortable – definitely the way to go for a great family vacation! I highly recommend them to anyone seeking an RV to rent or own!

Rented their luxury bus to cart my huge wedding party around on my wedding day. This was so much better then getting into a cramped limo. So much room for everyone as well as the stuff we had to bring to the reception hall. Plus there is even a bathroom on board for freshening up. Driver was on time and lucky for us he had some umbrellas on board because it rained all day. We would have been soaked. Would definately recommend to anyone who wants to comfortably ride in style on thier wedding day or any other event.
