I asked the provider, Ray, why the chimney was not taken down in the back of the house. He stated that he did not know about it and called his boss, Barry. Barry said the roof was already completed, and he would not take it down. He stated it was not in the contract. Although the entire condo association homeowners heard this conversation, stating to us, rather than paying for the flashing around the chimney, he would take it down for us for free, and that by not putting flashing around it, it would «equal out». Now he has rescinded that offer, stating that we were supposed to get back with him to make sure there was nothing attached to the chimney, which there was and is not, nor were we told that. I highly recommend not using this company.
