This place is great! The atmosphere is super chique, the staff is wonderful and the food is superb. We really enjoyed watching them make the sushi up at the bar. They accept reservations, which is a rarity in Bowling Green. The only problem I have with this place is the location… it’s behind sonic on Scottsville road, not easily visible from the street. All in all a great experience for date night for you and your loved one.

Passing through and stayed at the ramada next door. The food was excellent! I had a sushi roll that gas salmon and eel. miso soup potato appetizer and green tea to drink. I would have spent double if this was like a hibachi or saga but it was very reasonable with excellent quality. Sad this wasn’t closer! Highly recommend !

Ate here with a group of 8 on a busy day in a college town, graduation day. Looking around, most people were just out for Saturday night, not graduation. The hostess and servers were very nice, attentive and welcoming, exceeding expectations. We were seated promptly, the server quickly asked for drink orders, water glasses were brought and continually filled, beverages also were served promptly. Almost all at our table ordered sushi. There was one teriyaki chicken order and a yakitori rice bowl with beef. The teriyaki chicken plate was nice, fresh veggies, flavorful sauce and a nice portion for the price. The beef and rice bowl was okay, not great, not bad. The sushi was hit and miss. Granted, we were in southern KY and where is the closest airport or seafood provider? The sashimi appetizer was very disappointing at $ 15 and very, very thin slices of fish. Not the freshest tasting and not a good value. The other sushi rolls looked okay, they were all eaten, and there no complaints, but their dinner was being paid for, so to be expected. Verdict: could have been better, even for a small town.

My wife and I went here a couple weeks ago for the first time in a very long time, and I’m sad we let so much time pass before we returned. The service was on point from start to finish. Our server was very warm and enthusiastic, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fantastic as well, definitely the best sushi in Bowling Green.

Great sushi, even better service. It was jam packed on a Friday night but everyone there made us feel welcomed and provided fantastic service and with a big smile. I was impressed!

Excellent Japanese food. I know, we lived in Japan for 3 years. Many Japanese from the local auto companies eat here. Try the sushi bento box or the tempura platter. Finish with green tea icecream.

Wow! Just wow. I would not have thought that you could find such authentic Japanese food in the middle of Kentucky but it’s possible and Yuki proves it. The restaurant has a very complete menu of Japanese appetizers, dishes and sushi. I had the chicken Kara age lunch special with two orders of toro(fatty tuna) and one order of unagi. The sushi was amazing, probably the best tasting toro that I’ve ever had. The chicken Kara age was very well cooked. The soup and salad that came with the meal was excellent as well. The soup seemed like it was freshly made instead of coming from a packet so that’s another plus. The service was excellent as well. Our server came often to refill our tea. I’m definitely coming back here whenever I’m in town

This place has amazing food. They are friendly and everything is fresh. The owner Joe frequents the market in Nashville and often flies home to Japan for new ideas and creations.

Decent sushi rolls. Not the best by far. Service was disorganized. Décor was cafeteria bland. Also it’s dirty, especially the restrooms makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. Overall, very disappointed will not return.

Best sushi I’ve had in Bowling Green so far. We had a movie to catch and the server went the extra mile to get our food out quickly. The only thing lacking was the ambience. The lighting was too bright in the room.

Came in about 6:30pm and my very busy seems like several locals come back to it as well and the reviews and even my client suggested it. So I said why not. When I came in it was a 5 – 10 min wait. Wasn’t horrible suggesting that at this hour is packed on a Thursday. Sat down and was greeted by a wonderful waitress named Kelly. When she returned for my order I placed it and also asked for gluten free soy sauce. They only had a few drops of 50% less sodium gluten free let. I am happy they even had it that’s for me. Ask for the clear soup as well. Soup came was fantastic. Sushi came at a respectable time. And presentation was lame not much to it. Seafood tasted great up until seconds after that photo. I went in for the final few bites and there it was that I am about to be expired taste in my mouth. Ouch. Rice was a bit pasty seaweed was chewy. Then the salmon changed colors I was like no way. I did stop eating and gave myself a few. This is where the waitress comes in ask me how everything was and I will nod and say ok versus explaining how it really is. But either way not her fault. They will get three stars and that is because the waitress was great be thankful for Kelly. And your sushi was eh ok for KY. I got a little ice cream at the end with a wafer. They were truly going to get 2 ½ and I went 3 because of Kelly but with the ice cream they deserve the 3. Thanks. BUT Bad sushi is bad sushi.

Went here on a date and it was excellent. The server was knowledgeable and always kept drinks full. The sushi was excellent, no fishy smell, and the textures were wonderful. The amount of time everything took to get to us was perfect. not too fast or slow. I will definitely be visiting again.

Every. Single. Thing we had was absolutely amazing. We’re from out of state and the next time we come back through we will be back! We had the Eel roll, Spider roll and the Tempura roll, along with the steak teriyaki appetizer. The tempura roll was my favorite!! Such flavor!

Amazing, authentic Japanese food. I have eaten Japanese all over the world, and this is on par with anyone. I can’t stress how authentic the food is. The service was also 5star. The waitress came over multiple times to make sure I was enjoying my meal. I will definitely eat here again.

I love eating here. As much as I want to say that bowling green has great Asian restaurants I can’t say that they do, but Yukis touches more of the authentic Japanese style of cooking. I highly recommend this place. There Katsu is so good along side of there chicken donburi. Sushi is amazing and the sake is on point! I return with a smile everytime!!!

Some of the best sushi I have ever had. I’ve had sushi in California, Miami, Florida Keys, Hawaii, and elsewhere. Who would have thought some of the best sushi I wound ever have would be in Bowling Green, KY!!! The staff was very friendly. Not really sure who our waitress was. There were 3 – 4 extremely friendly and helpful waitresses that helped us during the meal. I would highly recommend!!!

This place was an awesome find on our trip down south. And we lucked out(thank you, college town!) The Nigiri was amazing, with the biggest egg omelet nigiri I’ve ever seen, which was truly delicious. All the nigiri was fresh and tasty in general, but what stood out for me was the terrific savory and sweet eel, while the bonito won the show — we actually ordered more of it. The bonito tasted, as Hannah, our incredible palindromic waitress pointed out, like seared steak. Just peppery and mouth-wateringly good. (As for Hannah, she was delightful, fun, and funny the whole night.) The miso soup was worth the $ 2 though there wasn’t a lot to it. We got three rolls: The Mermaid roll was tasty, though a bit heavy on the sesame seed flavor, with a good spicy finish. The Manhattan roll was interesting as the lemon on top tied well into the creaminess of the blue cheese and succulent salmon. Finally, the the Firecracker roll was simple but solid. Seared tuna with a drop of srirachi which got lost someone inside the rice. I would definitely recommend this place for its awesome service and the freshness of the fish… and the bonito. Oh good lord, the bonito!

Yuki is the BEST sushi place in Bowling Green, maybe in a 100 mile radius. Check out the specials and don’t be afraid to ask for special orders. Great staff. Fair prices. Matches what I’ve had in San Francisco and New York. Yes it is that good.
