I love that they offer Gluten-​Free option. The cookie of the day is usually something awesome. The best cookie by far is the Darth Vader one. I would recommend Cookie Jar to ANYONE passing through BG!

Simply the best. Any time we’re within 15 miles of BG, we find a reason to visit the Cookie Jar.

A MUST-​SEE in BG! The baker is so clever, there are 365+ different cookies, but you need to peek at their calendar to see which day serves a cookie that makes your taste buds tingle :-) Or, choose from the standard, good-​every-​day cookies, like chocolate chip, flourless peanut butter, snickerdoodle, and sugar, to name a few. I also love that they’ve teamed up with another local business, Grounds For Thought, and not only serve GFT coffee, but have a blend of their own! If you aren’t a coffee fan, don’t worry, because they serve milk and chocolate milk, too :-) And, grab their phone number because THEY DELIVER!

I saw this on Unilocal and decided to try it on my first visit to BG! It did not disappoint! We got the hot cookies delivered and they were pretty quick and the cookies were hot and delicious! They have 5 cookies every day, the usual– choc. chip, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, snicker doodle, and double choc. chip, plus a cookie of the day! I had the apple pie cookie one visit and it was like a mini pie in a cookie– it was amazing! I also had a cookie cake delivered for Valentines Day and it was huge and soft. Recommend for any birthday or celebration if you would rather have cookie instead of cake, like me. The cookie of day list (along with prices and hours) is on the website and that’s helpful to know before ordering.
** I think some cookies are gluten free, but don’t quote me on that**

i saw the two other reviews on this place and got so excited. i really didnt think i’d get a chance to go here since we were pretty busy on a short trip. but when my friend had happen to see the reviews too and we needed a break from studying all day, we decided to go here. i was so excited!
i parked in the small parking lot in the back and immediately as soon as i opened the car door, i smelled cookies baking! it was amazing. my mouth started watering already! we walked in and there is a small front area of the shop, with about two or three small round tables and chairs and then you walk in a bit more and there is the counter where you order. there are cold cookies that they had baked earlier in the day or you can order hot cookies which they bake right when you order and are ready in 15 or 20 min. FOR SURE i wanted the hot cookies! they let us try some samples and we decided on the traditional chocolate chip cookie and their cookie of the day which was peanut butter and jelly thumbprints. we got an order of 6 cookies. since we hadnt eatten lunch yet, we went across the street to mister spots and then when we came back the cookies were ready! i wish i had taken pics of the inside of the place because there were all these cute cookie jars everywhere! really awesome place and awesome people. oh and they deliver anywhere in BG for free, along with milk or coffee if you order it. aaaannnnnnnnd *drum roll please* they just started shipping to ANYWHERE! i asked if they even ship to california and the girl said that they had barely shipped out their first order a few days before so probably it would be possible. we would just have to pay for the shipping. how awesome! im so happy that we got to check this place out! :)

No joke.
This place bakes extremely fresh and delivers cookies and milk to your front door! All cookies are made to order and when you get them delivered– they are still very warm, gooey, delicious, and come in a cookie pizza box.
There are five standard kinds and every day there is a special cookie of the day. My friends and I would patiently wait every month till our favorite came around (girl scout cookie, rocky road, double chocolate, and so so many more), and specifically order just to get them. They come in package deals and the smallest is 6. You can also get milk (including chocolate) and coffee delivered as well.
Cute date idea– the store has a very small but cozy nook you can sit and wait for cookies then eat. It is decorated like a country kitchen and is great after a nice dinner.
I still miss the Cookie Jar :(

Oh my gosh, I can’t believe nobody has reviewed this yet! The Cookie Jar is absolutely AMAZING. You walk in, order, and 15 minutes later you’re walking out with a giant box of steaming hot, fresh, unbelievably delicious cookies. They literally bake them fresh when you order them, so you don’t get old stale cookies that have been sitting around all day. You can always get Choco Chip, Peanut Butter, Snickerdoodle and Oatmeal Raisin Cinnamon Chip, and then they have a «Cookie of the Day» which changes daily.
The best part though? THEY DELIVER! And they deliver LATE (til midnight on most days!) Yes, when you are sitting at home at 10’oclock at night, wishing that you could have a little sweet treat but are too damn lazy to get off of your ass and go to the store, you can call them up and they will deliver the goodness to your doorstep! And they’ll deliver MILK with your cookies as well. As Rachael Ray would say, YUM-​O (I actually hate Rachael Ray, but in this instance that phrase seems appropriate).
These cookies are SO GOOD. They’re always hot, chewy, and HUGE. There was a time when my boyfriend and I were ordering literally every day for like 2 weeks straight. I’m pretty sure the delivery guy expected us to become obese in no time.
EDIT 5÷1÷08: I was out in BG visiting my boyfriend for 2 weeks… and we ordered A LOT of Cookie Jar. However, it seems like their business has boomed a lot in the time since my initial review. While this is great for them, it sucks for the customer. Why? Well 1) They are really slow now to answer the phone. Sometimes they just flat out won’t answer the phone even though they’re open. If they do answer, expect to be put on hold for awhile. 2) They run out of the Cookie of the Day before they close! I think my bf and I ordered probably 5 times in the span of 8 or so days (yes, we’re fat asses), and all 5 times we couldn’t get the Cookie of the Day cause they were out of dough! Granted, we called a little later (i.e, 7pm ish, sometimes later), but seriously, if you are open til midnight, how bout you plan for that? Running out of your ‘star cookie’ 5 hours before closing is not acceptable customer service, especially if it happens consistently! Also, they just raised their prices, so even though the cookies are delicious, I’m not sure anymore if they are worth as much as they charge…
