History

Established in 1966.

Jackson’s Orchard is a 105 acre farm located on an elevation of 770 feet (one of the highest points in Warren County, Kentucky.) Thanks, in part to the elevation, this land has been an orchard for over 100 years.

Bill & Shirley Jackson realized a dream to have their own orchard when they purchased the land from the Ed Hudgens family. A tree planting program that began a few short years later in 1969 continues to today. The Orchard currently has over 11,000 trees in apple, peach & cherries.

In the early years of retail, we sold fruit off of a wagon parked in the side yard under the old oak trees next to the house. The apple barn was built in 1971. The original structure continues to grow and change as we do. Today, you’ll find our store, apple grading area, cider press building, cold storages, two lovely greenhouses and a large playground area.

We open mid-April to mid-November. Our seasonal hours are Mon-Sat 8am-6pm during the fall we also open on Sundays from 1pm-6pm.
