Fire Lake Camper Park

We camp here with our Toyhauler a couple times a year, during the camping season. We have friends that have a Seasonal site here, which is why we come out here.
The campground is very well maintained. The campground is situated around a decent sized, rectangular shaped clean lake, with open fields around the campground, and Highway (Route 6), runs next to it, at the North end of the campground.
The campground caters to the seasonal campers here, but it does have limited sites open to weekenders. The seasonal campers that I’ve met have been really nice. It’s usually quite here, a great place to take kids to, as they can’t really get into trouble, or go to far away. The lake is clean, with a little beach, 2 floating decks for the kids to play on. They also rent paddle boats and life jackets too. They have a small play area for the kids to have fun in.
The showers are clean, they have a small general store/​office that usually has what you may need. If not, Wal-​mart is only about 1.5 miles away, as are other stores and restaurants.
I suggest that you call and make reservations though, because they do fill up on weekends with different events going on in the area. And like I said, they don’t have many open spots for weekend campers here, First come~First served.
