Specialties
For almost 30 years we have taught children to grandparents safely and enjoyably how to ride and care for horses. Our well organized, clean facility with both lighted indoor and outdoor arenas make our facility a great place to learn in a positive fashion from our extreemly qualified instructors. We teach from the beginner to the advanced levels. We truly have the best school horses and ponies in the area who take such good care of our riders. Our summer camp program allows kids to learn in a safe, fun manner as well as do «horsey crafts» and swim daily. We also board horses and have many students and boarders that horse show with us and consistantly win.
History
Established in 1984.
My husband and I started with a 10 stall barn where we soon realized it needed to become larger. He drives trucks for a living and builds and fixes everything around the farm. I run the business. We now can house up to 33 horses and ponies. We have had over 5 show teams both children, adult and high school show teams that compete all over MD & VA but most or our riders just enjoy their weekly lessons. We used to host 10 weeks of summer camp but for the last couple of years choose to do 3 weeks. We raised all 3 of our girls here and our youngest has now gratuated from college. I now have bought a small pony for my 4 year old grandson who would rather be at the barn when he is here than doing anything else. It is a great enviroment for the kids to stay out of the malls be outside and do something positive with their lives. It is a great place for adults to unwind. Horse are good for the soul and with their partnership help us grow and enjoy life. We look forward to meeting each of you.
