Back Forty Sporting Clays

Absolutely the BEST rabbit sporting clays shoot! A yearly event — this year had a challenging, exciting and interesting variety of presentations. Trap «pullers» were attentive, alert and friendly. Great bunch of youngsters doing a job in windy cold weather with some sleet — glad there was a tip jar at the luncheon!
Was very pleased to see several ladies and youngsters in the shoot. Learning a healthy sport that can/​will put food on their tables. Nothing better than fresh goose/​duck/​dove meat!
Speaking of lunch — it was fantastic — pulled pork, cocktail wieners, baked beans, macaroni salad and dessert. All made by their resident cook — and delicious!
Wish they would do this event more often because next year I may have to do it twice!
