I love this place and wish they were open more hours! Their turkey pesto panini and ham and cheese panini(can’t remember what they call it) are great! Their snicker doodles are to die for! I get one every time. Their service is very friendly as well!

Here’s what to expect: moms and kids and book clubs, slooooooowwwwww service, clean-ish tables, a gal making sandwiches with a baby strapped in a carrier on her front, a cashier having trouble running the register(would’ve charged us $ 8 extra if I hadn’t noticed), and just mediocre food. I might expect this from a brand new restaurant but this place should be running on all cylinders by now. It isn’t, so I recommend going to one of the other«real» sandwich-soup-salad spots in town.

Fun little sandwich place for lunch. Small, friendly, and affordable. I ordered the artichoke chicken pesto sandwich and it was pretty good. It was kind of cold(being a hot sandwich) I ended up putting it in my microwave to heat it up when I got home. It’s only open 11:30 — 3:00, so just lunch. Other than that, great place. Will eat here again.

I wouldn’t have even given this bakery one star if Unilocal hadn’t required it in order to post. We ordered three dozen rolls for Thanksgiving and it was nothing but a huge inconvenience and a dinner roll disaster. First they lost the original phone order. Then I received a phone call the day before Thanksgiving saying my order was done and ready to be picked up. Upon my arrival,(which was only two hours after the phone call) I was informed that my rolls had been given to another customer and I would have to return in two hours to get the ones that were baking. It being the day before Thanksgiving I had no other choice but to comply. I had to have a friend return to pick up the order. However, when I received the bags the rolls were wet from condensation and there were parts of the rolls that were still doughy. They were not only undercooked but had been bagged too early and were soggy. I called and spoke to Ryan, who incidentally was the employee that had lost my original order and then given my other order away to someone else. I explained to him the situation and that I did not want to pay for the rolls because of the poor quality and the inconvenience. He told me if I wanted a refund that I would have to «come down and get one». I simply replied, «No. I would like you to refund my card.» Which he then responded with, «Whatever». Real professional I thought. I said, «Then you’ll refund my card correct?». He said, «You’re the one who picked them up». I then said, no I had a friend pick them up and I want my money back”. He said, «Are you intoxicated?» I said, «What did you just say to me?» He said, «Clearly you’re intoxicated, after all, these are just dinner rolls right?» I was so shocked. I wasn’t yelling or swearing. I purposely avoid that kind of behavior(I save it for fighting with my husband) because it usually doesn’t get me what I want. I asked him if he was the owner and he said he was the owner. What kind of an business owner treats customers this way? I guess one that doesn’t want repeat business. I always try to support local business whenever I’m given the opportunity but this is one local business I will never patronize again. Beehive Bakery can’t be trusted to follow through on an order, the food is subpar at best which makes them overpriced, they refuse to take responsibility for any mistakes made on their end which is unethical and the biggest reason of all is, any business owner who demeans his own trade(«after all, they are just dinner rolls») clearly has little respect for himself, his business and the customer who helps put food on his own table.

I had such high hopes! I heard people loved the place and I’ve heard it was nothing special. I really wanted it to be special! but… it just wasn’t for me! Nothing great. Nothing that stood out like wow this salad is awesome and so worth my $ 7.50. It was so tiny. A small plate salad. I would give my salad 2 stars. but I give the place 3 stars because it was small and quaint and the staff is so nice! But nothin great. I’m really disappointed dang it. Tried the sugar cookies everyone talks about and I’ve had better. It is a good almond based sugar cookie but if I’m going to eat those calories it better be dang good! And it was just average. Would I go back? Maybe if I was invited but I wouldn’t go out of my way. Plus the hours are here and there.

Beehive Bakery and Café is a small family owned soup, salad, and sandwich shop in the heart of Bountiful. I love the great customer service, the at home feeling you get when you enter, and of course the tasty food. The restaurant is owned by a cute couple and you will find them taking orders and making food daily, you will also see their cute little daughter hanging out or playing in the play area(yes, they have a cute play area for your kids while you enjoy your salads with all the other yoga moms). The reason why I love this small café is their turkey BLTA sandwich and their tasty salads, it’s my new fav spot to get a turkey BLTA(i’m sorry Granato’s, don’t hate me). The only negative I can think of is that sometimes they run out of salads and soups if you come after a big lunch rush. They also have plenty of sweets(cookies, brownies, eclairs, and etc.) so make sure to make a stop the next time you’re in Bountiful.

Nothing but good to say about this place. Kids meals were under $ 2, turkey bacon BLT was excellent, reasonable prices. Really liked that they have a little sectioned-off kids’ area with toys and a TV. Owners were friendly and the baked items were good too.

Very cozy(read tiny) spot for lunch, very limited menu, but it seemed pretty clean and a bit eclectic, all good there. A place like this, you get the impression that the desserts are going to be good, which they were. Plain kettle chips came with the sandwich and they serve Kirkland bottled water bottles, which isn’t ideal, but I can live with it. Staff overall seemed very friendly, but this is not at all a fast place, on any level. I struggle with this rating a bit because they apparently do everything themselves, from the bread to the condiments to smoking/butchering the meat themselves. It seems like they care a great deal and it shows. The sandwich was also well-executed, panini-toasted to perfection and was very tasty. The problem I have is more of ratio. This sandwich could have doubled the meat(wish it would have) to get to where it needed to go. If the middle layer between the bread is thinner than either of the slices of bread holding it, there’s a ratio problem, especially when it’s the country bread and thinned out by the panini press. I’d put this more at 3.5 stars, but with the throwaway sides and drinks, I can’t really say I’m anxious to return or even recommend, especially with Cutler’s and Vito’s not too far away… it’s by no mean bad, but the ratio needs to be sorted out… which applies to every single sandwich I saw in the place. I hope this place sticks around as Bountiful is desperately in need of good places, but this one still has a ways to go.

Visiting from California and stopped by for lunch and treats. The turkey bacon BLT was the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Focaccia was fresh, soft and thin, so I could really taste the yummy insides. I like how the turkey wasn’t sliced too thick or too thin, the bacon was cooked perfectly, and the avocado was the perfect ripeness. I don’t know how he’s making money on this. I didn’t get to try the cinnamon rolls – my kids and husband downed them before I could get a bite and said they were better than grandma’s. The chocolate peanut butter bars were great too – cookie layer, soft peanut butter layer and chocolate layer. Loved everything we tried! Good luck to this new business!

This is my wife and I’s favorite lunch date spot. Everything that we have had here is delicious. The Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich is our go to… best sandwich out there. This is a local gem that I hope people continue to spread the word about so that we can all enjoy for years to come.

Got the Turkey Avocado BLT, it was amazing. The focaccia was soft and light, everything was perfectly seasoned. Best BLT I’ve ever had. Customer service was awesome, very friendly, and tasty, tasty food.
