Friendly staff, expert design and a surprisingly short delivery time for custom closets. We felt they valued our business even tho we don’t need a separate closet for formal wear LOL.
Jacki the owner designed the layout and her team installed bars & shelves in our master closet. Only 6×6 foot — hey that was a pretty good size back in 1980 — and now it holds more and looks way better.
The Sophisticated Storage Solutions showroom is a huge plus because it has several realistic closets built out with shelves, bars and drawers. Oh sure they have a couple the size of a NYC apartment :) but also closets that actually look like mine — i.e., small. And Jacki was totally flexible, she opened the showroom on a Saturday, that relieved a lot of weeknight stress.
This company will install the closet, or just sell you pieces/​parts and you do it yourself. If they do the work there’s no sales tax because it counts as a capital improvement. If you do the work you get a 20% discount but have to pay the governor 7%. For 13% I punted and let them do the drilling and hanging. One guy working alone did the install in just three hours. The hardware is made by Grass of Germany, the boards come from Canada.
Bottom line: the boss is really, *really* happy with her new closet, what more can a guy do?
