I have gone here many times for breakfast. the coffee is great, and I love the pancakes. This place has great soups too for lunch. Friendly staff, clean place to eat.

Golden corner is one of the best diners around. The staff is friendly and the diner is newly renovated. It is always clean and they always take great care of their customers. The food is great and this has become a go to place for my family whenever we need a meal.

I would put 1 star but server was nice and food was okay. We use to love this diner, but after being treated poorly, I will not be back anymore. You would think it’s first come first serve, but I guess either my nationality or my young appearance deserve a low level of customer service by the cashier/host. The couple behind us were nice enough to say that we were first in line, and we were basically right in front of the cashier so you would really have to make a huge mistake to overlook this issue. And months before I recall a similar issue, but thought it was just a mistake, now I know. I guess since they are very busy, they can pick and choose the type of customer they want!

Your typical Nj Diner, been here a couple times but seemed to be quiet each time which I guess is good but kinda skeptical. This diner wouldn’t be my first choice but not my last either. Haven’t been here in a while but when I did go the food was okay kinda bland/oily. The kids chicken tenders tasted better than my meal, penne vodka.

This place has a nice neighborhood vibe and even looks homey from the outside(bonus there is easy street parking plus a lot in the back). My daughter loved the cozy little booth area in the front corner where we were seated & I liked that the staff was super friendly greeting all the regulars(I assume since they knew names). It was quiet for a Friday night but we arrived on the late side for dinner(around 8 p.m.). Food was excellent — I tried one of the«new Spanish items» on the menu: veggie quesadilla with homemade guacamole and pico de gallo. All of the ingredients were incredibly fresh & the dish was delicious. My daughter had the classic kids meal choice of chicken tenders and fries & that was just right too. Portions were more than generous so you definitely leave full, and the prices are right too. We tried this place a few years ago for breakfast and liked it so I have been wanting to make it back again. We will definitely return soon!

My husband and I enjoyed a nice breakfast at the Golden Corner. I had the Mediterranean omelette which wad good but could have used a little more feta cheese. My husband had eggs and sausage. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the sausage was tasty. Our waitress was very attentive with coffee refills and making sure everything was fine. I thought it was a little pricey for what we received but I can’t complain about the quality of food or service.

I hate writing this as the staff are all so nice and friendly, but the food we just ate quite frankly was barely edible. I hope this will be seen as constructive criticism and not just heartless bashing. Pork roll egg and cheese, asked of 2 that one have the pork roll slightly well done — both sandwiches came back with charred black pork roll. I’ll chalk that up to my mistake for ever mentioning well done for my sandwich, but they applied their intense inedible version of well done to both sandwiches. Blueberry muffin had no blueberries, save a couple around the edge. And the muffin itself was beyond dry but actually really old and the reason for bothering with this review was the strange/bad after taste that it left us with. Something is really wrong. Mozzarella sticks were also pretty bad and also left a strange aftertaste.

Was a favorite of my parents, and I will be bringing my family there as long as they are open. Love the Gallo Pinto!

The place is super clean and they all seem to be nice people. I get crazy when places skimp on the food. The soup cups are like what I serve espresso. The lunch specials come with chips instead of fries. Does anyone really eat those chips. Add an extra dollar and part with the fries. The worst for me was cole slaw that is yellow and not home made. I still will honor the Fountainbleu since they get it right every time! Sorry.

Good place to stop for a quick bite. The service was fast and friendly, food was good and prices were reasonable. I had grilled cheese, he had a gyro — standard diner fare — I know but that’s okay!

Every time that I have been to this diner I have had an amazing experience. I will go out of my way to eat here. I have had sandwiches both hot and cold, salads and breakfast. Everything I have here is as good as what I have had here before or better. Their salads are my favorite items on the menu. Usually, I have either the Chef Salad or the Greek Salad. These salads are HUGE. I ALWAYS end up taking atleast half of the salad home with me and get atleast two meals out of them. They also serve a home made health salad with everyhing you order. It is always delicious and the vegetables are always fresh and crispy. The manager/owner and the waitstaff is always so welcoming and happy to see you.

It’s been a while since being here, but everything on the menu was great. We got plenty of refills on the coffee and the quality of the food was great. All their desserts are made on site and look yummily scrumptious! Our server was great for making recommendations and made sure we were satisfied with our meals. The only thing is parking can sometimes be tricky.

Service is good, food is good. However, unless you order coffee, you get charged for every drink. NOREFILLS! My Niece took my Nephew there for lunch and she was charged for 7 iced teas! Once my dad fell down and nobody tried to help him. All the waitresses walked away so another customer helped me get him up. Not sure if we’ll be back.

Horrible horrible horrible. Burnt food, fries with the pickles put on top which made them taste like pickles. Cheese burger deluxe ordered well and came raw. Chicken fingers burnt and the size of chicken nuggets. Spoke to manager and she couldn’t care less. We ordered the food to go and she said it is our responsibility to check the food before we leave… I’m sorry that’s the diners job not mine. I expect to get what I order I shouldn’t have to do their job n check to make sure it’s correct. She Didn’t offer a discount or anything there are plenty of other diners in the area, this one is the closest to my house but I will drive the extra time never to go here again. They should be ashamed of themselves. And by the way the food doesn’t look like the pictures.

Place is very close to my house. In 6 years of living in Bound Brook only been there a few times in the past month. Good breakfast food, friendly service and good food. I had the club sandwich which was good and the potato pancakes are good too. I like this place a lot and I should of gone hear sooner if I knew it was good. Owner is very friendly and pleasant to speak with.

The pumpkin pancakes are like no other, A MUST! only at the Golden Corner !! The taste will blow you away. Add there pumpkin spice coffee to. Not only do they have pumpkin coffee, but you can order any flavor and they will brew you a fresh pot. For sure a place to put on your list.

Ordered the chicken salad club to go, got home, took a bite, and it was sour and horrendous. GROSS! Can’t eat chicken salad to this day. Brought it back and got pancakes, ehh… take the extra 7 minute drive and head to the Bridgewater diner on 22…

Consistent, reliable diner fare. I’ve taken my family here several times, almost always for breakfast/brunch. FOOD I almost always get the gallo pinto(beans, eggs, cheese, plantains), while my family gets staples like waffles, eggs, and pancakes. No one leaves hungry + good prices = good value. SERVICE Always friendly and reasonably prompt. AMBIANCE Completely renovated and upgraded in winter of 2014, and now with free wifi(ask for the password). Above average without being pretentious. SUMMARY Very good overall, which is why it’s on my regular list when I’m in the area.
