Walker Tree Care specializes in customer service. Services that we provide include tree pruning, tree removal, fertilizing, deep-​root watering, and preventative treatment for Emerald Ash Borer. We have an ISA Certified Arborist on every job, and we have a ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessor on staff.

History

Established in 2002.

Dave began pruning and removing trees in 1987, and opened Walker Tree Care in 2002. Since then, he has been dedicated to providing the best possible service to his clients by actively staying up to date on state of the art tree care. Dave became a Certified Arborist by the International Society of Arboriculture in 2007, and has pursued continuing education opportunities ever since.

Walker Tree Care has a hard earned reputation of being reliable, honest, and fair. We aren’t satisfied until you are!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dave is a Colorado native, who found himself in Upstate New York where he began pruning trees in 1986. He moved back home in 1987 to attend graduate school at CU where he earned his M.S. in geochemistry. He then worked as an environmental consultant for 12 years, but was still working in the trees for friends any chance he got. Dave burned out on consulting in 2001 and went back to his passion, tree work, opening Walker Tree Care in 2002. He became a Certified Arborist by the International Society of Arboriculture in 2006. He has actively pursued educational opportunities to stay up on current science and techniques of tree care. He became licensed to apply pesticides in 2012, and became a qualified tree risk assessor in 2015.
