I have lived in this apartment complex for a year now and have nothing but wonderful things to say. It is a beautifully maintained and primely located. Maintenance is always around and available, as is management. Management specifically is incredibly helpful and caring in the work that they do and it makes a huge difference when moving somewhere new. I live in a one bedroom that is in between two other apartments and despite being very aware of how loud they are any time I was outside of my apartment (as I walk by in the hallway, outside, on the balcony) as soon as I closed the door to my apartment I couldn’t hear a thing. Throughout the whole year there VERY few times I ever heard my neighbors and when I did, it was just a quick thump or something of that nature. Additionally, one of the neighbors directly next to me had a small dog that yipped and yapped and I only ever heard it when I opened my door for whatever reason. There are some reviews that say they had a large problem with noise from neighbors but I had the opposite experience. In fact, it is the quietest apartment I have ever lived in (I have lived in 7 different ones over the years) which is specifically important for me because I work 12 hour night shifts and can only get sleep during the day time hours when people are most active. This is an incredible place to live, I highly recommend it.

First, I want to say that I had a fantastic experience with the management. The people who work there were very kind, genuine, helpful and timely! The maintenance guy lives on site. Tierra always responds to concerns and questions in a timely manner.
THAT SAID —
I must give this place only 3 stars. I actually debated 2 stars… but the management was great, so I thought it deserved at least 3 start on the whole…
The complex is very poorly constructed. The walls are paper thin — you can clearly hear all conversations had above a whisper level from either side of you and above you. Speaking of the apartment upstairs — you can hear EVERY step and EVERY time they close a door or cupboard. It sounds as if they are slamming it. And if anyone is playing any music at all, it will be as if you are in the same room with them.
Also, on the bottom floor, water leaks in through the door when it rains. It’s not like a flood but it’s definitely a huge puddle. They tried to fix it numerous times but with no luck. I just don’t think the property was constructed well enough for this.
Most of the neighbors were nice, but the person or people who lived above me were awful. They would spit over the balcony, let their dog PEE on the balcony which then leaked onto my porch, throw cigarette butts off it, etc. They were super loud, too, but that’s also a problem with the construction of the buildings.
The interior of the place itself was nice. It’s brand new, so there’s not really anything to complain about there. The cabinets were kind of weird but you get used to it. Hard to explain.
The closet space was awesome. Huge walk-​in closet. Big bathroom. Loved that.
The place was pricey, but I ended up getting the promotional price since I rented when they first opened. If I would have stayed, my rent would have gone up about $ 150/​month.
The other thing is that the runoff from the rain is EXTREMELY NOISY. Like… the kind of noisy that will keep you from sleeping. The gutter system is poorly constructed so you hear EVERY drip outside of your bedroom window. It can be infuriating on some nights because it seriously can wake a person out of their sleep.
Some other pros are location — North boulder is super cute. La Choza (AMAZING mexican restaurant) is across the street. Papusas is down the street as well as Amante. Upslope brewery tap room is in walking distance.
Overall, it was a cute place to be for a while, but there’s no way I could have handled it more than my 6 month lease.

After calling to lease an apartment, I never received a return phone call until over 24 hours in which the apartment that was listed INCREASED $ 30 a month — I was told they fluctuate daily — like the stock market I guess. When I called back to inquire why they did not respond to my inquiry I was told they were too busy to answer the phone (as it was the First of the month) yet not too busy to raise the rent and not pay someone to answer their busy phones. Poor customer service and a hefty elitism attitude.
