Shamane’s Bake shoppe is locally owned and operated by Pastry Chef Shamane Simons. We specialize in pies, quiches, cupcakes, birthday cakes, wedding cakes, specialty cakes and desserts as well as savory cuisine. Our Bakery, located in Boulder, Colorado, is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. We offer a variety of seasonal breakfast and lunch items, including sandwiches; pastries; quiches; Boxcar coffee, espresso, and beverages; Bhakti Chai; breakfast burritos and cookies. We use only the finest ingredients, including locally grown and organic ingredients in all our pies, quiches, cupcakes, cakes, and pot pies. We also cater to specialty diets. Shamane’s Bake Shoppe is also located at the Boulder’s Farmers Market, Wednesday evenings and Saturdays. We look forward to seeing and serving you soon.

History

Established in 2004.

Shamane Simons has over 19 years of experience in the pastry and fine dining industry and began her culinary career in 1991 as an apprentice to the head Pastry Chef at the Flagstaff House Restaurant in Boulder. In 1992, Shamane took an apprentice opportunity in Vermont as the Pastry and Chef du Tournant, at the four-​star Tucker Hill Restaurant and Bed and Breakfast in Waitsfield, Vermont. In 1994, Shamane earned her Culinary Degree at the Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Arizona. Upon graduating, worked as a pastry chef for the prestigious Wrigley Mansion Club. In 1997, Shamane took a position in France as a private chef for a high-​end clientele, hot air balloon excursion company, where she gained invaluable culinary experience in France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and The Czech Republic. In 1998, Shamane accepted a position as Head Pastry Chef for the Mediterranean Restaurant in Boulder and ran the Bakery and Pastry Departments. In 2004, Shamane opened Shamane’s Bake Shoppe.
