The ultimate insider’s guide, each issue reveals everything from secret powder skiing stashes to sure-fire fly fishing holes to the best nightlife and housing deals. The magazine offers an authentic and insightful look at mountain life, places, people, sports, gear, and lodging.
History
Established in 2009.
As long-time veterans of the publishing industry we recognized the decreasing quality of magazines in our category. As life-long veterans of the outdoor sports industry we share and respect the passions of outdoor enthusiasts and destination resort visitors alike. We felt this audience deserved a better product than what was currently available. So we left our old jobs and created Mountain magazine.
We wanted to produce a throw-back periodical that paid respect to the days when magazines we’re something you looked forward to reading, keeping, and using as a trusted resource — something that delivered incredible photography, compelling storytelling and valuable insight.
