The genesis for Keating & Lyden, LLC occurred in May 2009 when Robert Keating formed Robert Keating Law, P.C. in Boulder, Colorado. In June of 2013, Thomas Lyden joined the practice as a partner and Keating & Lyden, LLC was born. The firm operates from two locations in two states, Boulder, Colorado and Bellingham, Washington and provides a range of legal services. Rob’s transactional practice focuses primarily on business law where he provides advice to business, entrepreneurs and individuals in the fields of corporate and partnership law, mergers and acquisitions, private securities, real estate, tax, commercial contracts and others. Tom’s practice is focused primarily on criminal defense and civil litigation.

Business Owner

Robert Keating formed Robert Keating Law, P.C., the predecessor firm to Keating & Lyden, LLC, in May 2009 to provide the highest quality legal services to his clients. Before starting this firm, Rob spent several years counseling individuals and businesses at a Boulder, Colorado law firm. Rob’s practice comprises corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, private securities, intellectual property, corporate, partnership and individual taxation, estate planning, real estate and entertainment.

Rob attended the University of Colorado School of Law where he was an associate editor of the Law Review, Co-​Chair of the University of Colorado School of Law (Rothgerber) Moot Court Board and Treasurer of the Class of 2006. Rob was named by his peers as a Colorado Superlawyers Rising Star in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
