We are a movement wellness dance Studio.
We are the home for the Nia Technique in Boulder. Nia is a Fun, Aerobic Fusion Fitness of nine different movement forms;Aikido, Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Jazz, Modern and Duncan Dance, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique and Yoga. Blended together and done to great world music for an amazing Mind, Body Experience. We offer Nia Trainings for those who want to teach or for any one that would like to connect with their body in a more complete way.
Our the classes are supportive and designed to round out your workouts such as ;Melt Method, Feldenkrais, Latin Soul Play, Tai Chi, Pilates, Barre and Yoga.
History
Established in 2012.
Started by Jackie and Marty Diner., both Nia Black Belts and Jackie is part of the Nia Training Faculty. We wanted to build a Studio to support our passion and feed our Bodies. We hand build our amazing Hardwood Hickory Sprung floor, which moves with you and gives back to your joints. We have a large front area with comfortable seating and clothing for community to gather and the studio has a wall of windows that look out at the Flatirons.
Our goal is to help the community heal and and embrace movement in a health, beautiful, safe and supportive environment.

Business Owner
Jackie has always had a passion for movement. She worked in early Childhood for 35 years inviting children thru Gymnastics and Dance to feel confident in their Bodies. After finding Nia 17 years ago, she became a Nia Instructor of Children, Adults and Seniors. Her life long passion is to empower people to live in their bodies with ease. As part of the Nia Training faculty, she host other Nia Trainers from all over the world and holds White Belts 4 times a year at Joy in Motion. She is also Trained in Tha Melt Method which uses Bals and soft rollers to rehydrate the connective tissue, to help clients get out of chronic pain and learn to move daily with more ease and comfort in all that they do.
