Joy Engine

This is kind of an urban store in disguise with graphic tees and sweats. I think that what it really is is a place where local urban and street artists can mingle. They have a gallery in the back I think. There was nothing going on when I was there so I just browsed through some shirts. The selection was ok. Maybe next time I’ll get a chance to see some of the shtuff they’re showing in the back of the store in their gallery. …i wish they sold sneaks. It still feels weird to see «urban» in Boulder although I appreciate that it’s there so people get exposed to it. Boulder is definitely not urban. But that’s also why I like this place. It’s different from where I come from. Joy Engine gives this city a little sprinkle of urban.
