Description

Specialties

Please note that I have two locations, one in Wheat Ridge and one in Boulder. I am at different locations on different days. Please consult the booking page on my website for the schedule before attempting to book. I do clinically oriented bodywork, specializing in pain relief, rehabilitation, and over all wellness. Using deep tissue, structural integration, and stretching, I aim towards helping others restore balance and health.

History

Established in 2002.

I had my first massage instruction in Aikido, where we learned a special deep tissue form of shiatsu called Kiatsu. Please see the Kiatsu facebook page for more about this.

Only much later did I decide I wanted to do massage professionally and so not long after arriving in San Francisco I enrolled in the Western Institute of Science and Health, where I learned Swedish, and Shiatsu.

I later decided to further my education by studying Ayurvedic Massage and body treatments at at the School of Ayurveda and Panchakarma, in Kerala.

I later went on to study Deep Tissue and Structural integration at the San Francisco School of Massage.

I am currently working in Wheat Ridge, Co.

Meet the Business Owner

John W.

Business Owner

Having recieved my BA in Anthropology, and always having been interested in alternative health, I have combined my interests by studying the massage of the east and west. Through studying massage and alternative medicine, I have been able to explore the healing systems of India and Japan, and fuse them together with the most advanced aspects of western massage.
