Established in 1970.

In 1970, Charles A. Hurth, Jr., and John M. Yeager formed a partnership of Hurth & Yeager. Providing quality law services to the Boulder and surrounding area communities. In 1973, Charles Sisk joined Hurth and Yeager and the firm’s name changed to Hurth, Yeager & Sisk.

The firm has continued to provide legal services in Boulder and the surrounding areas since its inception and has been generally recognized for its stability, continuity, and contributions to the legal community and to Boulder County.

As we enter our fourth decade of a law firm, we have four partners, Charles L. Sisk, Harold «Sonny» Flowers, Thomas A. Swett, and Stephanie L. Brennan together with our outstanding legal staff prepared to provide quality legal services of a wide breadth and professionalism, which is the embodiment of our firm.

Education

Chuck Sisk moved to Colorado at the age of one. His great grandparents homesteaded in Colorado in 1871. Mr. Sisk received his B.A. from the University of Colorado in 1967 and his J.D. from the University of Colorado in 1969. He joined the firm in 1973 after serving three years as Deputy District Attorney for Boulder County.

Experience

Mr. Sisk has served as Boulder County’s Public Administrator since 1977. As such, he is regularly appointed by the Court to represent minors, the elderly and the mentally or physically challenged who need legal representation.
