Our full stack curriculum includes Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, Javascript, CSS3, HTML5, Responsive Design, Database, APIs, Version Control, and Test Driven Development.

98% of our graduates secure full-​time placement after the program.

History

Established in 2012.

Since launching its first campus in Denver in October 2012, Galvanize has expanded to San Francisco, California, and Boulder, Colorado, with more campuses scheduled to open throughout the U.S. in 2014 and 2015. Each campus offers training and education opportunities, tech­-​focused events and a variety of workspace options.

gSchool has lived up to my expectations. I have learned so much over the past 4 months it is crazy. A lot is expected out of you and you should be prepared to work a lot. Even though the program is longer than code school programs, you have to be willing to put in the time and practice to become a good developer.
The instructors are very experienced and are as good of teachers as developers. The environment is great, there is always someone working on something new and exciting which introduces you to a wide array of tech. gSchool recently purchased some physical devices for us to hack on and some have incorporated sensor data and automation into our web apps.
I would recommend this program to a friend looking for a change.

gSchool is far and away the most impressive school I’ve attended. The space is great and very conducive to either listening to lecture or zoning in on your code and getting work done.
The instructors and the curriculum are well balanced and very adaptable. My biggest concern was having to deal with a standardized pace of learning and I can honestly say that there has never been a point where I wasn’t challenged. They do a fantastic job of keeping you in a zone of comfort where you know enough to get through it, but you’re not just always breezing through. If you feel like you’re behind they are incredibly supportive and make sure they give you work that will solidify concepts so you can apply them in projects going forward.
As far as location, it doesn’t get better than directly on Pearl st. in Boulder. It’s basically upstairs from Ozo.
