Rachel is a magician with wax! In my 15 years of getting brazilians, she is by far the best! Just don’t be late, because this woman is super timely, and expects the same of her clients; which is fair and professional, as the sole proprietor of her amazing business.

Rachel is the best. Not only does she do an exceptional job, she’s extremely friendly and outgoing. Every time I’ve been it’s been a positive experience. Top esthetician in the region, hands down.

This is the best place I have ever gone for a Brazilian wax (I’ve been to quite a few). Rachel is amazing at what she does and makes what should be an awkward experience a good one. She is extremely personable and very friendly. This is the only place in Boulder I’d recommend!

I had a great experience here and I highly recommend this business. I received a waxing-​the whole enchilada-​and it it had been a **while**. Rachel is a lovely woman and put me quite at ease, very friendly yet professional. She did a fantastic job, pain/​irritation was minimal, and it seemed to be a quick process. Rachel gave me tons of awesome tips and advice, I will definitely return as soon as possible. I also learned that she is a breast cancer survivor and she’s very active in educating women on this horrible disease. This is a great business to support for so many reasons.

Worth every cent. I’m from NYC and Rachel/​Eldo are the real deal. The best wax you’ll find in CO, hands down– light years ahead of the chain studio I tried before going to Eldo. If you’re afraid of dogs, fear not– she doesn’t keep her dogs at the studio any longer, as one review stated. I (for one) would have loved to see their smiling faces though!

Don’t even consider going anywhere else! I arrived for my first Brazilian and was nauseous with anxiety. Rachel was fast, engaging and the pain wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected. Amazing!

Eldo was the first place I ever went for a Brazilian wax and I don’t think I will be going anywhere else for as long as I live in Boulder. I was nervous at first about the pain and about the embarrassment of being naked from the waist down in front of a stranger but Rachel, the owner, put all of that at ease.
Rachel has a saucy personality and she kept me distracted and laughing through the whole session. Not to mention she is lightning fast! Every time I have been in and out within 20 minutes with perfectly hairless bikini. This makes it super easy to make appointments even on days when my schedule is packed.
The studio is simple, clean and comfortable and Rachel’s work is both super and affordable. Eldo has been my go to spot for personal maintenance for about 6 months now and I could not be happier with it.

I am beyond pleased with my experience here! Rachel is amazing at what she does, and makes a usually uncomfortable experience very uplifting and positive. She’ll be my go to from now on.

My esthetician had recently moved away. Which I thought I could not find anyone as pleasant and clean. So, Unilocal lead me to ELDO. I went here for a Brazilian a few months ago. I guess I didn’t save my previous review. But, this place was great. Very professional. I was made as comfortable as I could be under the situation. ;-) Appointment was fast and pretty pain free. Will definitely be the place to get my «hair» done. :-)

Rachel is awesome! She’s thorough, quick and does a great job. She’s proactive and manages her time and appointments really well. I’ve been able to get in with a 20 minute warning thanks to her flexibility. Also she has a cute puppy and she’s a very passionate person who is great to talk to.

I came here after reading such positive reviews, about one year ago. After the woman who does my brows moved away, I was in search of another place to get my eyebrows waxed. I came 15 minutes early and the woman at the desk where I checked in didn’t acknowledge me or try to make conversation. I figured she was just an unfriendly receptionist and we sat 15 minutes in uncomfortable silence. At the time of my appointment, she gave an annoyed sigh, stood up, and said, «You ready or what?»
In the waxing room, the first thing I noticed was the woman’s laundry hanging from the ceiling. No clothes, just bras dangling off the pipes on the ceiling. This was all I could stare at during my wax, so perhaps she lives in that building too and was air-​drying her laundry?
Less than 5 minutes later the wax was «done,» though I wasn’t offered a mirror to check and see if they looked good. I felt uncomfortable paying and tipping the woman without even knowing the result of the wax, but I took faith from the five star reviews and tipped generously. Even while paying the woman made no attempt to be kind or even friendly towards me, and when the transaction was complete she went back to typing on her keyboard immediately.
When I got to my car and checked in the mirror, my brows were awful! They were uneven and I couldn’t even tell she had waxed them. So many stray hairs… I went back in and asked if she wouldn’t mind tweezing a few hairs or waxing over the area again and she snapped that she had another appointment after mine so she wouldn’t be able to help me, though the waiting room was empty.
I guess she doesn’t need the business and I will not be returning.

That was a bit of a loaded response… Of course I have nothing against cancer survivors, but seeing as you didn’t explain that at all during my appointment, or bother to talk to me, the bras on your ceiling were confusing at best. Your response did not acknowledge any accountability whatsoever for your actions. Please stop trying to make a customer look like the «bad guy» and simply learn to improve your business from the experience.

Had a great experience here. Rachel was so easy and interesting to talk to that I barely even noticed I was getting waxed! I’ll be back for sure.

Really nice experience here. I am visiting Boulder and went to Unilocal to find a place for a leg waxing. Scheduling was easy, on line, great communication. Shane did a wonderful job. Quick and almost painless. The least painful leg waxing I have ever had. Nice rooms, no weird candles or incenses. Overall, quick easy and excellent. Will return next time I am in Boulder.

I’m going to be the first voice of dissent. I feel bad about it but this is my honest experience and I felt was just a-​ok. Not the worst but certainly not the best.
First, there was sign on the door saying a dog was there. I’m not a big fan of dogs. I know, I live in Boulder, CO and not a fan of dogs. It’s ridiculous and a miracle they let me in the city/​state. And don’t get me wrong, I do like dogs. My good friend has a dog I love. I even dog sit him from time to time. But I just don’t like strange dogs who start jumping on me automatically and that’s who I was greeted by. Our dentist brings his dog to work but the dog stays in the office. Doesn’t greet each patient with a jump and a lick. It’s just unprofessional and I hate it when people assume this is okay. A friends home? A dog jumping on you is ok. A business? Not ok.
So the girl takes me to the back and I notice she’s using the nice blue wax. That’s what gets the 3 stars. Great wax. I got my brows and lips done and maybe that’s the issue. Maybe they’re really great at bikini wax which is a whole other ball game. But regardless, she didn’t bother to trim or tweeze the rest of what was left on my face. My brows weren’t shaped either. So off I went to my car and checked out the job and half of my stache is still there. I started to keep a tweezer in in my car because I’m so used to this. And I’d like to also point out that I’m not very hairy.
And the last doozy is that I left with a few bug bites on my ankles. I’m assuming fleas. I’m severely allergic to flea bites. I know they can be hard to pinpoint exactly where and when one gets them, but all i know is that I walked in not itchy and walked out with red bites.
So alas, I’m back to square one. Looking for a waxing place that can wax my brows and lips completely. Please feel free to contact me if you have a great place. Thanks.

I don’t have any point of reference given this was my first experience with waxing in the lower regions and, needless to say, I was pretty nervous, but Rachel did not disappoint. She made it quick, painless and made me feel at ease. She was very professional. I will definitely be back for a follow up.

Rachel is without a doubt the GODDESS of waxing. I have been avoiding waxing after a pretty bad experience at another chain location in town. I finally decided to give it another try and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Not only is Rachel amazing, but she is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel so comfortable. To top it off, it was truly the quickest and least painful wax I’ve ever experienced. I am so thankful for Rachel giving me a new memory of the overall waxing experience and will for sure be going back to ELDO on a regular basis.
