History

Established in 1991.

Wolfgang has almost 50 years of car repair experience!

He started as a professional mechanic in 1973 working at the Mazda dealership and has worked in the automotive industry ever since. In 1991 he started Coyote Motors.

Eric has extensive experience in Subaru and Toyota repair and has been working at Coyote Motors since March 2014.

I’m a pretty new customer to Coyote Motors but so far it’s been the best experience with a mechanic that I’ve had. Finding a good, honest, friendly mechanic can be really hard but the guys at Coyote are quite obviously all of the above. They have great customer service, are very kind, and I am certain they would never take advantage of my lack of car knowledge. Thanks for being awesome guys!

I’ve been bringing my mazda (a 1990 — we still have it) and now a subaru to Coyote Motors since 1992. I have nothing but good things to say about Wolfgang and his team. They do excellent work and they are extremely trustworthy.

If you want honest, technically savvy mechanics to take you Subi or Mazda, this is the place. If you are a Miata enthusiast, they are IMHO the top Miata garage in the Denver/​Boulder area. The honor their appointments and are almost always dead on as far as how long they need the car. I live in the foothills southwest of Denver and it’s worth the trip for me to go to Coyote Motors. I would not take my Miata anywhere else…

Wolfgang is awesome. Super knowledgable, nice, quick and good prices for great work. I’m surprised this is the first review… they’re excellent and are my go-​to shop, despite the 30 mile drive from my house. This is the place I go after a closer-​to-​home oil change shop quotes me hundreds for some random repair – I know Coyote will tell me what’s really going on, will do a better job and will often be less expensive. I’ve been coming here for years on my dad’s recommendation, and can rest easy knowing my serious lack of car knowledge isn’t costing me thousands a year in gullibility fees.
