We offer relationships between you and our sitters for the life of your dog. Very personal care while you are traveling– since 1998. Your dog comes to stay as a family member IN the home of one of OUR professional sitters in the metro Denver/​Boulder/​Fort Collins area, including towns between these hub cities.

Each of our dog sitter homes is state licensed & inspected — you visit for a Meet-​n-​Greet with your dog upon making a reservation – lots of companionship, lots of attention – lots of love while you travel.

History

Established in 1998.

As a child I brought home injured or homeless animals back in the Detroit area. My family would nurse dogs back to health and we’d find new homes for them, even in recessionary times. For many years I believed that I had taught more than one baby bird to fly doing negative G drops on the outboard end of a roller coaster broomstick. Over the years and moves across the country I always sought out dogs to love.

In Seattle during the early 1990s I began caring for others’ dogs in the comfort of my own home for a brand new network home boarding business. In 1998 when I came to Colorado for graduate school it was the perfect opportunity to build my own dog home boarding business from the ground up. That vision became Canine Campovers, and as we say, The Rest is History. Please call and get to know us, with or without trip dates in mind.

I own and manage Canine Campovers on a day to day basis, and I care for several Campover dogs at a time in my own home. I want to invite any exceptional doglovers who are at home much of the day on an ongoing basis, and who have well-​socialized OR no pets of their own, and who have well-​fenced yards to look over our sitter criteria for workng with us, posted on the website.
