Description

Specialties

Nonprofit Party Buses and Event Planning.

Bus to Show is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing intoxicated driving by organizing fun, eco-friendly, community-integrated, and financially-accessible bus transportation to and from concerts, sporting events, festivals, weddings, and other high-risk events.

Weather you have a group of 2 or a festival for 20,000, we can help you keep things as safe and fun as possible. Please see our full calendar online.

We have worked directly with music festivals in Colorado, Texas, and soon to be Kansas including Sonic Bloom, Wanderlust Festival, Euphoria Music Festival and Fire Mountain Festival. We also partner with venues and promotions companies who are interested in providing a safe option for their audience.

As a nonprofit, we depend on the generous donations of businesses and philanthropists to help offset the cost of this service to our members and riders. To sponsor, please get in touch!

History

Established in 2007.

Since we began in 2007, we have organized transportation for over 10,000 partiers each year and delivered them home safely at the end of the night. Correspondingly, DUIs in Boulder (the test plot) have plummetted by over 30%. That’s a total of 836 fewer DUIs over the three years, than Boulder was on pace for before we came around. Sounds like a lot. It is.

Meet the Business Owner

Dustin H.

Business Owner

Well, I am not actually the owner because Bus to Show is a nonprofit, and nonprofits are owned by the state. I’m just the founder and executive director. I grew up in Aurora, CO with my brother Mike and sister Sara. I Went to Smoky Hill High School and was on the wrestling team. I went to the University of Colorado at Boulder, where I fell in love with poetry and literature, completing my degree in 2001 with a BA in Creative Writing with a minor in Biology.

My interest in nonprofit work began with Bonfils Blood Center, where I was employed to write procedures and training documents for the Distribution department. Working for this nonprofit organization with a sustainable business model planted the seed for what would eventually become The Basics Fund and Bus to Show.

As ED of Bus to Show, my goal is to make sure that this organization always maintains its selfless spirit, it’s love for community, & continues to instill a sense of limitless freedom in everyone who rides.
