Boulder Bump Shop

After my flying firewood incident (driver not found) in the Canyon, I brought my brand new Subaru Outback Legacy to them to repair the cracked front end. I love these guys. They are professional, high quality, communicative (thank you Hailey and Luke!), and deliver what they promise. My Subaru is restored to factory specifications so the tungsten color glows once again. I would unhesitatingly recommend them!

We recently rear ended another vehicle and smashed in the front of our Chevy Volt. It broke the charging system so we had to have the car towed in. Boulder Bump did a fantastic job of managing the repair process, setting expectations about the time needed to fix it and in the end did a fantastic job getting it back to new condition.
People seem to get worked up by the timing of a fix but I think Boulder Bump does a nice job of project management. It’s a complex job putting a modern car back together and most people probably want their car back asap, so any little delay will cause dissatisfaction.
I was really happy with the work they did and the ease of getting the repair completed.

We had the Bump Shop fix the front end of our car in November/​December. They did great work on our car.
I’m disappointed, though, in the customer service associated with timing and delivery. They initially told us it would take one week to fix the car, but it took two. They only told us it would be two weeks when we called at the end of the first week, expecting it to be finished.
We had to rent a car while they were working on ours, paying out of pocket (not through our insurance company). We rented through the rental company they have a partnership with. Because the work took an extra week, we had to pay an extra ~$ 350 for the rental car.
It was pretty clear that they added the extra week without us knowing in advance. When we asked if they could give us credit or a discount for the extra $ 350 we had to pay unexpectedly for the extra week of the rental car, we were met with them just shrugging their shoulders. I should note, too, that this was right before Christmas and impacted our Christmas plans significantly.
So, to summarize, they do great body work. But, I am disappointed that their delay cost us $ 350 we hadn’t budgeted for AND they refused to accept some responsibility for the delay and added cost.

The work took a week longer than we were quoted. No big deal, it happens. We get the car back and my wife tells me it is making a bit of a funny noise and pulling slightly to the side. I take a look and she is missing two lugnuts and the other three are almost off the lugs. So they took the tire off and forgot to tighten the lugnuts up again. If she had taken it on the highway the tire would have fallen off. Zero response so far from Boulder Bump Shop, so I am just trying to get to word out to make sure and double check the work you get done, or better yet, go to a place that won’t endanger your life.

Boulder Bump Shop did an excellent job replacing my front bumper, which got smashed in by someone who didn’t leave a note on my car — so I was stuck paying for most of the repair due to my insurance deductible and some other uncovered costs. I chose BBS based on good Unilocal reviews even though they weren’t on list of «preferred» vendors for my insurance company. The companies that were on the list had a lot of bad reviews and I wasn’t impressed with them during in person estimates either.
Boulder Bump Shop’s estimator was professional and gave clear explanation of options for the repair. The new bumper looks great and the color match is perfect. When I dropped off the car, they had someone available to give me a ride into town right away. They did a nice general cleaning of the car too, so it looked really nice when I picked it up. Would definitely use them again.

I took my 1997 Firebird Formula in for some repairs. The car looks showroom perfect! I was highly satisfied with the paint job!
Customer service with Luke and Haley were fantastic! They made it easy on me to handle the whole process without a worry. They were there to always answer questions and requests! Greatest Autobody and Staff!!! I would come back here in a heartbeat.

I crumpled my rear bumper after backing into a post. I was told by Boulder Bump Shop and two others that hidden damage to the backup camera was common, and it might cost me an additional $ 300. I was over a barrel. I had no way of knowing if there was hidden damage or not. Although Boulder Bump Shop could have charged me for an extra unneeded repair, and I would never have known the difference. I was charged only for the basic repair of the bumper. I was suprised and relieved by Boulder Bump Shop’s honesty and integrity. Thanks folks!

After hitting an icy patch of untreated road, I had to take my car to Boulder Bump Shop; they were referred to me by a coworker. I had a great experience during the repair process. It was a very busy time for them and they started working on my car immediately while keeping me updated on the progress. Due to the complicated repairs, they missed their completion date, but immediately arranged a new rental car for me. The car looked like it did before the accident and the process was so easy. Recently, I had a small issue since getting the car back and Boulder Bump Shop immediately fixed it. Hopefully, I’ll never need their services again, but if so, I would go back and refer folks to them.

What a great experience! It is hard to describe a car repair as a great experience but this was. The staff at Boulder Bump gave an estimate for work on my 10 year old car and were able to repair my bumper while I waited. They were friendly, quick, and the repair was perfect. Another repair shop quoted a much higher estimate and were scheduling out weeks into the future. I would recommend using Boulder Bump. My compliments to Jessica and the other staff.

Did a great job repairing my 12 year old truck. Perfect match on paint, can’t even tell that it was hit.

I’ve got an older car that had a few dents in the driver’s fender. Recently, those dents conspired to limit the opening of the driver’s door.
I called a couple of places and only the Bump Shop really heard me when I said I didn’t want to spend a lot of money and didn’t care about looks, just function.
I dropped into the Bump Shop, without an appointment, and in less than 15 minutes I was back on the road with a driver’s door that opened all the way! And, it cost me way, way, way less than it would have elsewhere because they did it as a courtesy!
Thank you Boulder Bump Shop for your quick and friendly service. I hope I don’t need auto body work again, but if I do, I know where I’ll be going!

I think BBS genuinely cares about their customers. Very happy with results. Will use again. They work with Enterprise so you can have a car there waiting for you. Seems like a great Boulder company.

I have been taking my car (s) to the Bump Shop for years. Actually my whole family has. They always are so friendly and do such an amazing job. Whether you are using insurance or not, they have by far the best quality. The turnaround is quick and they are always honest about how long it will take (most of the time it’s done sooner!). I brought my car in for an accident I didn’t want to claim under my insurance and they were so helpful in making it as cheap as possible but the highest quality.
With all the snow, it’s been tough on my 2003 Corolla. I came out of work one day to find that someone had either slid or backed into my front bumper and while there was minimal damage, the bumper wasn’t on quite right and was hanging off a little. I took it over to the Bump Shop at lunch and they fixed it while I waited. I couldn’t believe how painless it was!
If there were more stars, I would give them 10.

When you have to go see these guys, you’re usually not having a good day, but they made mine much better. They were understanding, fair, and easy to talk to. They helped me right away by offering different options. I left in a much better mood and satisfied with the services they had provided.

The Boulder Bump Shop is simply amazing!
I drive a 2002 Acura RSX that I’ve had since 2005 and have not had to make any payments on it nor have I ever been in an accident, so I don’t have Collision Insurance. Well, on a slushie snow day in Boulder, I was unable to stop on a downhill slope (I could hear my antilock brakes crunching), and I rear-​ended the SUV ahead of me.
While everyone was okay, my car was not. My hood was scrunched back, and my bumper was hanging off the front of my car; both my headlights were busted as well. I went into the Boulder Bump at the recommendation of my coworkers and boss, and couldn’t be happier. I met with Dan, and he evaluated my car and tried to do as much as possible to save me money, as I was paying entirely out of pocket and had a substantial amount of damage. He even suggested reusing my bumper, not painting under the new hood, and not doing a paint blend on the side panels that they normally would do — all of which I was okay with. I just wanted my car to be drivable!
I ended up ordering OEM Acura RSX headlights online as I had found them on sale from another dealership, which shaved $ 150 off of my overall amount. The great part was that the Boulder Bump was happy to take them and place them on my car, no problem. Ultimately, I got my car back in just over a week, it looked amazing, and came in just under the original estimate (not counting headlights on either the estimate or the final amount).
I also would like to add that I ended up working with Luke, and he was very responsive to any questions I had, and called me with several updates. I truly recommend the Boulder Bump to anyone needing auto body repair!

Great shop. My car looks good as new, the staff was very nice, and they were very professional. They cleaned my car inside an out. Very pleased with the job they did.

These guys are great and do terrific work. My Ford Edge was damaged pretty badly in an accident and they put it back together beautifully and in a surprisingly short amount of time.
The crew at BBS was helpful, friendly and kept me informed of the progress throughout the entire process. They were honest and welcomed me into the shop to let me to check in on the repair process whenever I wanted to do so.
I will enthusiastically recommend them to anyone that asks me for a reliable, professional and qualified body shop.

Boulder Bump Shop rocks. Unfortunately, I’ve needed their services multiple times for my Audi S4 and Toyota 4Runner. Each time the work has been done at price quoted and ready when promised.
Additionally, I had a scratch on my Audi brought car in, they buffed out while I waited. Tried to pay but the refused payment.

Had a bumper replaced on my car after it was hit parked on the street near my house. Other person’s insurance paid and I had some choice of repair shop and chose Boulder Bump because they had done a similar small job for me several years ago. Again, they did a very good job, can’t tell at all, car looks great, and they were really professional and pleasant to deal with. Quality operation.
