Local arts galore in all mediums with casual tourist shopping options and more serious jewelry or art seekers too. I was shocked how many Colorado artists are refined in their craft. It’s not Santa Fe but wow, if you want to go local this is the place. Nearly a perfect gift shopping place!

Aloha! My husband visited Boulder a month ago and bought a few gifts for the kids and myself. When he got back home to Maui, and we opened one of the gifts we saw that the security tag was still on the gift. I called the store and asked how they wanted to handle the problem. They said to mail it back and that they would reimburse me for the shipping and hen remove the tag and send it back. Well, they did just that and sent a bar of yummy chocolate as an apology along with their nice card.
I absolutely LOVE doing business with real business people. Thank you for making such lovely pieces of artwork as well as being so professional and courteous.

Probably my favorite store in Boulder! Love to look even when I can’t buy. A variety of wonderful art and gifts.

This is a nice big space for local artists to display their arts and wares. Besides the paintings, sculptures, and prints that you would find in an art gallery, there is also the «crafts» in the title, which brings along with it wooden spoons, inlaid cutting boards, potholders, and other artisanal items. If you’re visiting Boulder, as I was, it’s worth a visit if you’re looking for an artistic souvenir to bring home with you.

I have shopped here for years, for my self and for very uniques gifts. Everything is handmade and though it started as just local artists, it now sells handcrafted objects from artists around the US. I especially like the jewelry selections but the wall art, pottery, glass, and fabric offerings are often what I might want too.

Fantastic local craft store with a great selection and representation from local artists. The only tip I have is that you can generally find all that stuff cheaper on the crafts-​person /​artist website. My parents bought these beautiful outlet covers and when they looked online to check out the artist, there they were on his site for way less.

Excellent store and helpful staff. Love the wide selection and there is something for everyone. Get on their email to be notified of special events and occasional coupons. They have a weekend every year where everything is 20% off and that is worth waiting for. Venue is local artists. Prices are fair to high end but many artists are world reknown. My friend loves to have stuff shipped back home and all items arrive safely thanks to careful packing by staff. Fun place to go just to look around on the pearl street mall. Extended hours and easy parking nearby.

I would say yes, it does still have lots of items from local artists, but again, I found it one of the pricier places on the Pearl St. Mall.

This place is a true delight. Originally I went here to find lovely pieces made by Brenda Neely. She makes lovely little dragons that are incense burners that until recently, I didn’t know you could find her work anywhere outside the renaissance fair, but here she is! I love seeing all the pieces from local artists. This store is lovely.

I love when places support local artists from all over. This place boasts some of the best variety of locally made items around. Think of every gift on your birthday, anniversary or Holiday list and this place may have something for everyone.

This place is a one stop shop for everything wondrous and amazing. I will continue to frequent this shop for a lot of my gifts. Everyone else should to if you know whats good for you.

This is one of my favorite Boulder destinations. It’s so fun to wander around browsing the local and regional artists. The browsing inevitably has led to actual purchases.
The purchases have pleased cat lovers (animal metal sculpture), dog lovers (painted wood carving), cold relatives (fleece wrist warmers and recycled wool gloves). Besides these items, the wine bottle holders, unique greetings cards, sturdy bean bag animals, and front display always get my attention.
Currently, new items they have are gifts raising money for the Womens Bean Project and unique wood carved wine bottle stoppers. Some of them are carved from reclaimed wood killed by beatles. I heartily recommend coming here next time you’re in Boulder.

Neat shop that carries art & craft items made by local artisans as well as some from around the country (and I even saw a few Canadian pieces too). They have some great things in store, and even carry the popular Maruca bags that are so hip & cute! It’s a great place to pick up a gift for someone who’s hard to shop for or who prefers something made locally that’s unique. You’ll find everything from scarves to sculptures in there, and that’s what makes it great!

I visit Pearl Street Mall once a year and this place is my must stop store. I’ve been here every single visit from 2002 to today. My mother-​in-​law got me into this store, which carries all sorts of art from local artisans — paintings, jewelry, silk and wool scarves (textile art), woodworking, and all sorts of crafts. It’s artsy stuff so that means pricey.
They also carry handmade wooden jigsaw puzzle Christmas ornaments for $ 13 each. Most are animals and consist of about 5 big brightly colored pieces that actually come apart. For the last three years I’ve bought one each visit, and now have a star, an elephant, and a puffin. (Puffins!) Next year I am already plotting to buy the butterfly.
The people who work here — especially Ellen — are really nice. When I couldn’t remember if I already had the puffin ornament she figured out a way I could contact the store to exchange it from my home in the Bay Area if I needed to. That was a load off my mind when I went ahead and bought the puffin. Thankfully, when I returned home I discovered my tree was puffin free.

Simply the best collection of one of a kind designs on the promenade. If you are looking for a Maruka bag, this is the place to get it. I wanted almost every piece of jewelry, but had to restrain myself.

This is one of Boulder’s many excellent arts cooperatives, and it features the handiwork of some of Boulder’s top artists. This ranges from fine art to functional items. They got a lot of photos and jewelry, not to mention a number of novelty items.
The greatest piece I never bought for myself was a chess set. It was a beautifully crafted table with an arts theme. Rather than having the basic black and white pieces, it featured writers vs. painters. Very clever, artistic and cool. It was too rich for my blood at the time (probably too rich for my blood now, even!), but man, I would have loved to have bought that piece.

Oh my god – this place is crazy! It is like a converted garage filled with toys for bratty kids. (But it is not a garage… and there are no toys). No matter – you can certainly find something highly engaging and certainly worth the attention of even a non-​hippie for even a few seconds. (Could everyone NOT use a little more nag champa?) Aside from a proliferation of Nag, you will also find knick knacks to entertain any normal hippy dippy for hours. Wind chimes. Kites. Jewelry boxes. Prayer beads. OH and ESPECIALLY prayer flags (can you go anywhere in Boulder without finding these?) Anyhow, you kids have your fun at the ol’ Boulder Arts and Crafts Cooperative.

I love this place. I have to drop in everytime I come down to stroll Pearl Street. Everytime I visit they have something new and different. They have a broad collection of goods representing artists from all over the region.
